People (men OR women) can legally change their name whenever the want, not just if/when they marry.

My student pastor at church...when her and her husband got married they both took each others names. She just started so I really don't know her last name yet...but I know her husbands name is David. So lets say his name is David Smith-Jones and her name is Christie Smith Jones. They didn't want to dishonor either family and drop either family's name.
