I'm a big fan of HBO's big love. I don't really have a problem with one man having multi- wives. As long as their all adult. In my opinion they should be forced to register though in an effort to prevent welfare fraud.

I am with this guy that I had a previos relationship with...we ended it seven months ago. We've been intimate a few times since then but lately he has been asking me over pretty much every night and when I get ready to leave he gets sad and asks me to stay. Well last night I tried to discuss things with him a little and see what he was thinking about us and he just looked me in the eyes and said I wish things could be different and I asked how and he said "it doesn't matter because they can't be" to give a little insight we are divorced and I feel like we had just gotten married too soon, we are both in our early twenties and I think we both still have a lot of growing up to do. But I feel like now he is acting like he wants me back in the girlfriend capacity but he won't let himself. Am I wrong?

do you think it is a good thing or is it risky business in the event of divorce?

Definitions of forsake on the Web:

abandon: leave someone who needs or counts on you; leave in the lurch; "The mother deserted her children"
wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

So if you have sex with other women it means that you abandoned your wife?

This doesn't make any sense.

What If I have sex wit the wife first then have sex with the other lady...now all are satisfied right and evertything is cool.

Nobody gets abandoned and everbody walks away unhurt.

It seems as though it's just a "thing" people do now if they've been together for a little while. It's like it doesn't hold the same sentimental value and sacrement it did in the past because people know they can get it divorced or anulled so easily as we see so often in Hollywood. I figure why pay a whole bunch of money to go through procedure when one could just not get married and just be together for ever without any ceremony or go to the justice of the peace. Any why do marriage divorces cost so much with these prenups and alimony and child support? Gosh!

My husbands ex wife is making things very difficult. I do my best to not let her get to me, but I am only human after all. You can only watch the man you love be hurt so many times before losing your cool. She cheated on my husband while they were still married (with his best friend) - they divorced, she became pregnant with the best friends baby, she and the new man got married. My husband and his ex share 2 children from their marriage but she makes his life a living hell. Just recently my husband has had to press charges of harassment against her husband (his former best friend) and the hearing is next week. She offered us money to drop the charges and I know that when he doesn't give in to her demands she'll hold the kids from him and we're scheduled to get them in a week. We've gone to court, she's had her wrist slapped once or twice but all in all she gets away with it every time. I guess I just needed to vent and get some feedback from faceless strangers. :) Thanks!

If your husband is constantly talking about how good other women look and very rarely compliments you about anything how should you take that? Also if your husband is with you at clubs and starts texting his friends about other women in the clubs how would you react?

Just to clarify the situation regarding "How to renew sex life with an unfaithful wife". We are working on Tirust, talking & sex. We have 2 kids (3 & 6 years), she feels that I shutdown & shut her out (which I thnk is true due to denial about accepting a family history of severe depression). My inactivity has also caused money issues. I have made mistakes & made her feel unloved. That's my burden to accept & get through. I feel it drove her out. HOWEVER, I do not take full responsibility for what she did. She made a choice & NEVER use condoms. STD tests were clean. There were conversations that ended unresolved. Her affairs was never one of them. If the kids were not a factor in this my decision would be simpler. We attempted counseling but decided we needed to be certain we both (really her) wanted to be in the marriage or wanted to try again. I would do anything to keep my kids from this pain, they are my soul. And I do still love her. Am I foolish for wanting to save my family?

I am 22 and newly married. Everytime I am trying to figure something out in the kitchen, my husband wants me to call his mom and ask for advice. Sometimes he calls her behind my back when I say I will just look something up online. Am I wrong for being irritated about this? I don't want his parents thinking I am incapable of handling things.

I have two baby boys 20 months and 3 years and half. Their father and i have been separated for almost 2 years now. He was verbally and physically abusive to me. I sent the boys to his mother's house for a few days, and without asking for my permission or letting me know he took the boys to his livein girlfriend house for the week end. I reluctantly accept the two of them going out with them, because she is part of his life, and he's the father. but i don't feel comfortable letting them sleep at their house. He did drugs, and from i've been told, she into that. She is 20 years older than him and support him. And he doesn't support his children.
I asked him to please take the boys back to his mother's house for the night, because i do not feel comfortable because they are so young. He said i am manipulative, to go to hell and hung up the phone on me, do you think i am overeacting and manipulating. What should i do. I'm upset, nervous at the same time and worried for my babies.
Help

Growing up I remember my parents had a newspaper clipping taped to the fridge, 10 tips for a happy marriage...or something along those lines. I can't find it anywhere online. One of the tips was don't go to bed angry...

I hope the people in Yahoo! world can help me recreate this list.

What do you find are the most important tips for a happy marriage. I'm not looking for huge explanations (although I don't mind reading those at all) I am more looking for something to put on the fridge, like this....

1. blah blah
2. blah blah
3. .........

Thanks in advance!

And you didn't really have to do "it" all to know. I am always surprised by people who suddenly find their spouses not affectionate or bad in bed. What gives? Is it just an excuse?

I have a single friend that works with my husband. She is desperate to be in a relationship and always thinks that guys like her. However, she revelaed to me recently that when she and my husband met (inititally at work), he thought that she liked him. After the exchanged numbers and spoke on the phone once, he wrote her a letter explaining that he was in a relationship and hoped that they would be friends and nothing more. My husband never told me about this. When confronted, he said that he didn't tell me because he didn't know how I would react. He has also given her two cards on different occasions when she was depressed over her relationship issues. I now feel uncomfortable having her in my home. She swears that nothing has every happened and didn't think this situation was a big deal. But, why didn't he tell me? Why has he allowed this girl to sleep over at our house, have dinner, and watch movies (when I'm there of course) if he thought she liked him?

My husbands brother is cheating on his wife of 8 years, they have four children together. We spend lots of time with them and are close. He had been taking these weekly "vacations" he doesnt even give a good excuse. All of this happened after he began losing massive amounts of weight, he was FAT and now hes normal!

Now his wife is continuing on with her duties and living in sadness. She works like 70 hours per week, her live in mom takes care of the children. SOOOO? There is supposed to be a family reunion with loads of people at their home soon, how am I supposed to behave?

I dont know how to treat him, and I feel the need to hug her and let her know she can talk to me anytime about her feelings....but I dont want her to know that I know.

HIS mom, my husbands mom told us. I dont even know how she knows, but my heart just aches over the whole thing. Their youngest child is 3, and he has been missing his daddy while away on all these "vacations".
