Marriage & Divorce - 5 July 2007

Im so upset.My husband is so mean.He comes home from work and just screams at me.Says Im a fat lazy bit**,im a slu* and all because we are having a rough time at the moment and havent got alot of money.He makes me cry everyday and he doesnt even care.I feel worthless and Im just the most loving person in the world but all he ever does is just shi* on it!Please help me to understand what I am doing wrong??Thanks so much!

I read these questions of males and females ( I don't call them men and women) asking other people advice on how to keep a married man or if he will leave his wife? visa versa for the females.

I tell them to go talk to the other spouse, how you would you feel.... if you were the other person?
Tell them they should be ashamed, call them names like floosie, tell them that they are to lazy to get there own mate.
Then I get these feeble excuses of; "well, he approched me first". Well tell him to go to h- e- double hockey sticks. get a clue saing no is just as easy as yes. do you think I am being mean or hard- core in my responces to these people.... because I had some one cheat on me once? what is your opinion of some one who dates a married person be it male or female???

What is up with all these married men? Want to have affairs then fine but stop whining all the time....I hate my life, I hate my wife, nobody appreciates me, bouhouhouhou....why do men stay stuck if they are so miserable? and pls. don't tell me i am deluding myself, that i want him to myself, coz i don't...I just want to know why they can't just seem to enjoy the affair without depressing the hell out of me...

my bf is becoming distant. He leaves at night all the time, since i work a grave yard shift i can not join him. His drinking has incressed and his attitude towards life and me is getting worse. Is he lonley? alchoholic? Or mabey he just needs space. I want things to work out but its starting to affect me.

He says he hates his boss,the country is going to hell,hates the traffic he must drive to work in,can't get caught up on bills,etc.I've been ill off and on and haven't been able to work-so he blames me for not helping although I keep a very clean home & cook like a gourmet.He talks very mean about my 10 yr old son behind his back, and it hurts me-my son's a good boy.Husband is very passive agressive.Everyone worries about $, & hates to work, but he acts like he's the only man who ever had to go through hard times.His mother has millions & he won't ask for help.Now my once nice, kind husband is hateful & blames me for his misery.He's very longsuffering.I'm so tired of it.If I raise my voice to correct the dog,he tells me to not 'yell' at his dog!He says good morning to his dog in a pleasant voice & ignores or yells at me about his frustrations.He's making my life miserable.He used to be kind & caring to me & now I can't stand to be around him.I dread his arrival home each day.WWYD?

now that the US has taken a backseat and the Devil incarnate GW Bush has been leashed by the Democrats.... his lapdogs are now setting up new ways of tarnishing and reviving anti muslim sentiments...
one is that you have achieved by a nicely planned foiled set up of the airport bombing....with pics for all to see...
Two, you connect a particular country and then a profession where Indians excel to the bombing and give it wide publicity. and u kill two birds with one stroke....

Revive all enimities and cut out employment opportunities.....

My wife is going to leave me after 9 months of marriage. I am 27 she is 25, we both feel we rushed into marriage. I proposed to make her happy because I was kinda neutral on the whole marriage thing. Our relationship has really gone downhill since the marriage, both finacially and physically.We both wanted to go to counceling but we lost our insurance. I have gone through 3 jobs since we got married and am not making as much as I was. The hard part is we are each others best friend and I treat her like a princess and she nows that. I left for about 2 weeks and I missed her alot and she likewise. We are probably going to move out of our apartment seperately, ( we cant afford it ). She says that 95% of our problems are finacial. She says I'm the best guy in the world but I don't see why she is with me. I have gotten a second job but I think it might be to late. Am I a failure at marriage or just not ready?

MY BF AND I HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 5 YRS GOING ON 6. I WANTED TIME APART(A BREAK) TO MAKE HIM REALIZE THAT WE BOTH NEEDED TO CHANGE. HE QUIT TELLING ME HE LOVED ME, ACTING WEIRD WHEN HIS FRIENDS WERE AROUND AND NOT ANSWERING MY CALLS. I CRIED FOR A WEEK. THEN WE SPLIT. ITS BEEN THREE WEEKS AND I WENT OUT WITH FRIENDS AND HAD FUN. NOW I REALIZE THAT HE HAS CHANGED SO I WANTED HIM BACK AND NOW HE DOESNT WANT ME BACK. I HAVE BEEN CRYING FOREVER IT SEEMS, BC I KNOW NOW THAT HE IS THE ONE AND HE CAN BE AWESOME. I CANT SEEM TO LIKE NEONE ELSE NOT EVEN A LITTLE. HE SAID HE WANTS TIME APART TO HAVE HIS FUN NOW AND MAYBE EVENTUALLY WE WILL BE TOGETHER IN THE END AND HAVE A LIFE TOGETHER BUT HES NOT SURE. My husband signed 2 years contract to work in China, he came home to visit in June and I went with him to China. On the second day I find out he has a young girl pictures in his lab top and cell phone, I keep asking who is that girl but he said she just a friend and a co-worker, I know there is something wrong but I could not do anythings. After he went to works I found there was a box of condom which has 10 piece , which only three left. I have 2 childrens and I live in 4000 square feet house with my mom and my dad. My husband support the family

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. Recently, a good friend of mine has become engaged. I’m happy for her, but really jealous. She has what I want. She’s getting married and starting her life w/ the one she loves.

My boyfriend and I have talked about getting married, but right now it’s not in the cards. Last year, he lost his job and could not find another for almost 6 months. He blew through much of his savings just to get by and used credit cards to buy simple things like groceries and such. He’s found another job and has been working since January. But, money is tight.

I’m still in school and working. I’m also in a financial bind. My father had cancer a few months back. He’s recovered, but it took a huge toll on myself and my family. I also have incurred debt b/c of it. I was helping to pay for items on credit cards and such, on my families behalf. Mainly food, medicine, stuff like that .

'I'm ashamed of my self I'm really ashamed!! Even though when we were young he is always glad at me, even though we fight together like a violent fight to each other, he forgives me really quick. Hi all,

I have been Married for seven years, with two lovely children. I have been working with this company for quite sometime and unfortunately was forced into bankruptcy. I lost my job, the Car the house and everything. We were forced to relocate to a different state and live with my in-laws till we get back on our feet. Lately my wife have been bombarding me with verbal insults that "IT WAS ALL MY FAULT." And to add insult to injury threatened me that "she is going to find a man that will financially support her" and "why don't you go back to your mother." I am contemplating on leaving her. My question is I love my two children, and I don't want them to go thru what a Divorce or separation anxiety. Am I being stubborn for loving my kids more than putting up with my wife verbal insults? I know each day is getting worse and getting ugly, but it's getting to the point of breaking me. I need serious help!

my sister and her husband just split up about a month ago and she moved back here to Tx. from La. Heres the Q. My nephew (her son) who is 31/2 started pooping in his pants and now he wont eat. If he eats its not much at all. today is his brothers b-day and he didnt even eat the cupcake! now, for the last couple of days he's been throwing up in his bed or anywhere. and last night he made himself throw up. I think its some kind of emotional stress going on, do you? I would really like to know from people who have been through a divorce or something like this. If it keeps getting worse, then were going to take him to the doctor! please help!

My husband just got home from 8 day trip to China with his MBA class. The group decided to post pictures on Flickr to share. Tonight my husband was showing me some new pictures were posted by one of his friends from the trip. This guy also sent him a personal email. When he opened it, the comment was, "Hope you're not jealous about the picture of Katie and I."

Katie is a single girl in their class, a year or two younger than my husband, and pretty cute. I know a group of them went out a few nights while in China and Katie was in the group with my husband. I know the nights included drinking and being out until 2-3 a.m.

My husband says the comment was meant to be a joke, since his friend knows that he "can't stand" Katie. But the comment included no "J/K" or smiley face or any other comment to make it seem sarcastic.

I know I'm probably being silly. But late nights, cute single girl, different country, drinking.... now this comment? Should I be suspicious

Should marriage be treated like a disease or an STD?

Once you get it, its for life...and people aviod you like you got the plague....this is the marriage curse.

example:

Hottie says: "Hey Flavio...what you doing after work"

Flavio says: "look at my finger"

Hottie says: "Eeeew!"

Flavios thinks to himself: "Cursed marriage"

So can I see a doctor so he can write me up a prescription to cure the marriage curse?
