Marriage & Divorce - 1 July 2007

I am 41 year old male. I have lovely wife and a son. We have lovely family life.

Recently I came in contact (via e-mail) with one of my college day girl friend. I used to love her then. But could not confess. Recently, we came in contact via e-mail. She is married, & having 2 kids. Her husband is outside country for job, since 5 years. They share joint family life only for 2 months in a year.

We both are in India, but in different state.
I have started developing soft corner for her. We are exchanging many SMS & mail. Now we love each other. We shared e-sex life, by exchanging SMS at night.

Whole day, I just think about her. My wife knows her by name, as my old friend. She also speaks to her on phone and share friendship. I plan to take my wife to her home.

I can not leave my wife. We both feel like having sex with each other. I feel guilty doing this. But can not come out of this.

I am totally confused. Please advice & help.

I have been with my wife for three years now and we have a one year old daughter but recently we have been fighting non stop. This usually doesn't bother me but I don't want to keep doing this anymore. I have told her that I want to stop and it goes away for a few days and then comes back full force. I work 12 hour shifts 4 to 6 days out of the week and am tired of dealing with crap from her after a already long day. Can any one help decide on what I should do from here?? Another thing to keep in mind when thinking about this she doesn't work hasn't worked since before we got married and has everything materialistically a women could want. Just a thought. hindu couple married for last 2 yrs. they invested in building a house with a loan taken frm a nationalised bank jointly in their name. the land was brought and the house was constructed there.everything jointly in their name. now due to differences they are seperate. the wife's name is the first name of the loan agreement. now the house has been constructed but is nw locked.the husband is not asking any financial help from wife and he himself is paying the emi amt to bk. now if he files for divorce can the wife claim anyhting frm the house. the pre-emi's and amt to builder was given by her. if not , will there be any legal prob in future because she is the first name inthe loan agreement . pls clarify.

A friend of mine was married today and for all accounts(kids, legal, and drug issues in the last 10 months), it didn't seem like a good match, but today seeing them, they looked so happy. My friend was so sure. I thought I was sure once and had my heart stomped on. There have been a couple of others than seemed interested in going down that path with me too. So my question is, how do you really know when its the right person. Do people have that magic this is the one, i just know it moment or is it more about making a personal commitment to yourself that you will standby your commitment to your partner? My son has found his "cups" around the house and thinks that they are drinks. He understands how to open the bottles and it is just a matter of time before he finds one that I didn't know was there and drinks it. What can I do? He pretty much said he will try to watch it but will not stop chewing in the house.

We also have 4 grown kids. My X due to his new wife, does not see or talk to me or his kids or has NEVER seen his 3 grandsons. I am still very close to my X's family that lives 200 miles away. They still visit and call. I feel I have known them for over 35 years and they have always been nice to me. My question is ...when my X in laws die, can i go to the funeral or should I stay away because it may make everyone uncomfortable including me, with my X there with his new wife?

I am in love with a man who also has feelings for me but he says that staying friends is the best way to go so no one will get hurt. I really want to take it further with him and I am so in love and I want to make love with him. Im married and would leave him anyday for this man that I love. About 9 years ago (my wife was a girlfriend at the time), she found porn on my computer. She got pretty mad and I ended up telling her that I would stop lookin at porn. I was pretty good at it for a long time. However, since getting married, and having 2 kids and other circumstances, our sex life is almost nil. I recently started looking at porn on the computer and she found out. She's very upset. She tends to overreact to things sometimes can blow things out of proportion and says that I'm "addicted" because I promised to stop 9 years ago and I broke the promise recently. Would you say I'm addicted? I do not look at porn day and night. Maybe 2-3 times/month.

Also, she says it is a step below cheating on her. Do you agree with her? To me, I don't know why this is such a big deal. Many guys I know (married and single) have watched porn one time or another. Give me your opinions.

We have been friends for a couple of years. My marriage has been in the process of divorce. We work together on some community projects. He is my neighbor. Our kids are friends. I know his wife but we are not friends. I believe she suspects, but won't say anything to him because she has told him to go elsewhere afterall. She is from another country where the culture was for the men to have mistresses. I think she meant, go get it somewhere else once every 5 years, not with the neighbor, but she wasn't specific. I like him. I am VERY attracted to him. We have a good time together. We are mutually respectful and loving towards one another. He takes the edge and some of the scariness and lonliness out of my divorce. I think his wife is crazy for sending this great looking guy off to do whatever, although he will not divorce her. His parents divorced and he thinks it is very bad for the kids.

I am a Christian. I know the bible, I know we are to be obedient to God. But I do not agree with Christians who insist that because God hates divorce, that it means that people should stay married. Sometimes it is very damaging for a marriage to stay intact if it is mentally harmful for the spouse and/or children. I think Christians should stay out of the marriage counseling business unless they are actually educated counselors.

i met this guy just shortly before my marriage. My wedding to my husband was a whirlwind one. we dint really know each other that well before getting married. after marriage we had countless clashes. most of the time i was paranoid thinking he had somebody else outside. the fights escalated to very violent ones with both of us hitting each other. in the midst of those times, i always ran to the other guy for comfort and he was very patient knowing that i was married even though i lied to him initially. till today, he is still around and it touches my heart knowing that somebody can love me so much un conditionally. my hubby found out abt him and they both had a confrontation. i chose my hubby but somehow my heart is still with the other man. i feel so torn and hurt cos i feel that i pity and love my hubby but im not in love with my hubby. i am in love with the other guy. i really dont know what to do anymore. im just very confused. im not proud to say what i have done is not forgivable

actually, before i have a roomate, but she was so sloppy, always out, no time to clean her mess up, nah! ive decided to move out and go solo! and im happy! ican do whatever i want, i cannot smell smoke in the bedsheets, that is truly a good decision, was it?
