and i know in my heart there have been others. But' this last one I can't seem to shake and as hard as we try to get it back good its like we take 3 steps forward and 2 back. We argue all the time. How can we, or can we make it back to the way it was? I feel soooo depressed and just lost. I love him but even after his actions it seems the only time he is nice to me is when he wants to be intimate. I NEVER deny him, nor have I ever. Actually, he is very spoiled. I just can't get over the why? Was 5 minutes in a truck with trash (and she was...if she was a good nice girl i would say so) worth throwing away 13 years and destroying 2 innocent lives. And we actually have a GREAT sex life. I could use some advise. The only reson I'm still here is because of my 11 yr. old son. He looked me in the eye the other night crying and said "I just don't think I could go on living without the two of you together. Enough said. Sincerely, djm

Okay my husband and I got married when we where only 17 and have been married for almost 10 years we have had ups and downs but things worked out until recently. In the last 3 years he has taken a job at a mill and taken on the atitude of the people he works with. He lies about little things and I always catch him but he won't quit doing it. He will say he has a saftey meeting after work and it is going to run late and he will really be golfing. he made plans to go to a football game out of state with four guys I didn't know and instead of telling me they were going to stay the night he made up a story about their car being broken into and needing to be fixed. Then he also started chewing and I knew he was. I found a can of chew here and there for over two years and whenever I asked him about it he would say it was someone elses. Then he finaly gets caught in his lie when we are out with some of his friends from work. These things are so dumb but I don't trust him what can I do?

But how does someone like an ex-wife have the right to ask for it when there has been a seperation for 4 years and she had gain all property, no children were involved, and to top it off, she has had to kids while still married, with someone else. The Husband had tried to file for a divorce in 2003 but the wife was considered as a run away, but now in present time wants the divorce, new boyfriend has joined the army and is in Iraq fighting as we speak. The soon to be ex- wife now wants the divorce and wants spousal support. The husband has no other children and had given at the time of the split all property. Taking nothing, Walking out empty handed. Tell me what you think on the situation. Put yourself in the husbands shoes and tell what you would do now since she has done the wrong.

I see it too often. He supposedly says he is going to leave his wife but this is just a ploy to stall for time-and some women fall for it and have meaningless relationships that contribute to the demise of a marriage with no respect for the other partner or themselves. Why settle being second fiddle?

A friend of mines father died a month ago and his estate was obviously passed on to his step mum which obviously caused no problem and was understandible. Unfortunately his step-mum died 2 weeks later after falling ill. He was upset by this. But now his step-mums daughter is saying that he will recieve nothing as his fathers and stepmums fortune will be divided up between his stepmums children.

If it had been a long time after that his step-mum died then this would have been easier to take but 2 weeks has grated on him as he gets nothing and step-mums children get everything. He would much rather have his father back than money but he doesnt see why her children should get all of his hard earned money. No wills were made by either party

There has been talk about making it physical. I think he more than she, but she certainly hasn't stopped it. He is trying to find a way to get away for a night with her. Is this considered cheating?

I am married and my wife has a friend that she is always texting. it is another woman and they always write that they miss each other every chance they get. my wife told me that she never sees the woman. I found sexual messages on several occasions between the two. i have confronted my wife plenty of times on it and she say that is just how they talk. what am i missing here? is she cheating when i am at work and if not, why does she have to be so secret. i have seen alot of things that i have not told her, cause she will deny it all from her cheating. when i ask to meet her friend, she tells me no and why do i need to meet her. why will my wife not be honest and stop hiding things from me. she claims to love me, but something is very wrong...

My husband is a good provider(house, car etc...) and he thinks I am being very ungrateful.I told him that I AM very grateful for all that he had provided but I am lacking the emotional connections with him.We are like housemates and I can't see myself living like this for the rest of my life. We've been married for 30+ years.

I have mentioned my 'problems' about 3 years ago and many times since, but he is always saying that I should be grateful and that he is happy living this way.I told him that as long as one party is not happy, there is a problem!

So I suggested counseling and was told to go alone since it's MY problem.I only want this emotional void to be filled. He is so distant and aloof.I am so tired of having to initiate everything that I give up, so no sex (it's the result not the cause),no touching,no talking,no nothing.. so sad!

Should I just stay and be grateful for all that he is able to provide and be deprived emotionally? Does going for counseling alone help?

I've been married for 3 years now and I love it at times and then I hate it. We've tried to work on our problems, but it seems that we're always getting into it about the same stuff. It's good when it's good, but bad when it's bad. I love my wife to death, but I just don't think that it's going to work out in the long run. Should I continue trying or just let it go?

My g/f of 5 years has been displaying these signs, tell me if she is cheating or what you think.. I am suspcious of her cheating on me with my old enemy, who knows we are together

1. Hides and deletes text messages and calls
2. VERY protective of her phone
3. Still mentions facts about this one guy as if she's talking to him. Yet she says, "He told me a while ago"
4. Admits sometimes, "I had sex with him 3 times in a row..." with a smile and then says she's kidding.
5. Her messages and times between sent and received don't add up. She's deleting a few them, yet she says she's not hiding anything.
6. Been going out A LOT while Im on night work. Says she is with her friend, but ALWAYS conveniently leaving when I call.
7. Always going to the bathroom with her phone
8. Physically fighting me when I see her phone "light up" She will wrestle and punch me so I don't get it

I am in a verbally/emotionally abusive marriage for 13 years(physical by choking me 3x in the past over 4 yrs. ago). We have a daughter 7 and a son that's 5. We are 34. he is very verbally and mentally abusive from calling me horrible names, that he doesn't need me, I'm worthless and sorry( b/c I was layed off over a yr. ago and have not yet obtained a job. It's a tough economy in Michigan), fat *****(I'm not fat and if I was he still has no right), lazy(our place is immaculate). Well I am just at a lost. I have left 3 times and returned hoping things could change to no avail. In counseling now but I don't think he takes it seriously. He works in the evening so I miss paying singing gigs all the time b/c he refused to work in the morning. I feel like I'm wasting away trying to be the perfect housewife for a man who treats me like ****. I don't hardly do anything for me to keep up with his demands. He's only nice sometimes. He says he's not forcing me to stay here. What to do?

I heard too that the child was killed the next day after the mom or something too. Could you imagine being that boy and seeing your mom like that? Then your own dad turning on you? How frightening
