My husband makes excuses and won't get a job. He's been out of the military since March. I'm taking care of our 2 yr old while he sleeps into afternoon, stays up all nite, surfs internet, watches movies, plays video games, complains non-stop about everything, hides in the room and avoids my family because they pressure him to get off his butt and work. If I ask him to help with our daughter, he says I wanted to be the stay at home mom. When I tell him he needs to work, his response is why don't I work? I reminded him I work everyday taking care of our child. I try to support him in finding jobs but it backfires. I have a hard time being intimate with him and when he asks me why I tell him I just want him to get a job, then he gets mad. He threatens me with divorce for being frigid. I told him he owes it to our child to at least get counselling but he thinks he's too good/too smart for that?He seems to think it's okay to live off unemployment and my family. I want to make it work. How?

My husband suffers with huntington's disease and unfortunately may have to go into long-term care. He receives a military pension and I don't know whether I should have gone for power of attorney before this stage in order that the pension continues to be paid into our joint account. It all seems so confusing and was wondering if anyone had experienced much the same. Thank you

How many of you guys, and please give your ages if you are okay with that because it may be relevant) actually need sex daily? I hear this 24/7 thing, from many men who answer questions on here. I'd like to believe that men are not unhappy in their lives, or marriage, when sex occurs maximum of two-three times a week. Am I wrong? Hectic lives, etc.???

We have been together for 2yrs straight living with eachother. We have sex about 4times a week is that normal or do am I just worrying? Sometimes when he is hard and laying in bed beside me he wont even try to make love says he aches to bad from work. He works 8hrs on concrete floor and we usually stay up till 3am and he gets up at 9am so does 4times a week sound ok? you think he really is to tired its just when we first started dating no matter what time or what he had to do he would attack me but now if its too late or he has worked to long he is to tired.

My wife and I decided to try out the swinging lifestyle. We both were curious. We tried it a couple times. Turns out I really like it and she really hates it. Can't really find a way to comprise....What should we do?

my boyfriend still keeps in contact from time to time with his 2nd ex's mother and he lets her keep a child he had from his 1st marriage. i dont like it because its annoying how people from the past should go away and they don't. one time it got really bad and the ex-mother-in-law kept calling him multiple times a day, so i called her and asked why and she said it was none of my buisness. keep in mind that he was only married to the 2nd ex for only 1 year.

I believe that pregnancy, child birth and babies are very 'icky'. Using the logic of the masses, does that mean that having children is morally wrong?

Let's outlaw children!!

For example I get sooo mad when he bites my nose or face and he just thinks it is funny to make me mad. He doesn't seem to understand that it hurts. Then on top of it he says he has no conscious. So I can't guilt him into stopping, in fact he turns it all around on me and plays his guilty games. I don't play guilt games with him, but I'm sure with a normal person it would be guilt of hurting someone that would make them stop. One day he brought me divorce papers and told me that if I was so unhappy that I could divorce him and have everything. I don't want a divorce I just want him to stop. How do I get him to stop when he doesn't have a conscious and just doesn't get it.

I have been married to my wife for less than two years and we are 22 and 21 years old. Yes, I know that is pretty young. And, I was wondering how many times per week people have sex who have been married about the same amount of time. For us, it is very rarely because she just doesn't seem to want to....ever. We have sex maybe once every two or three weeks and I initiate it 100% of the time. She is not adventurous, so she absolutely refuses to try new things and she won't tell me what she likes.

For a while, we had sex every day (for about the first three months of our marriage). Then, suddenly, my wife just decided she didn't want to have sex any more and it takes a VERY special occasion or three hours of begging and another hour of listening to her complain before we actually have sex. And the funny thing is, that most of the time, she "enjoys" herself.

I'm basically wondering if a total loss of a sex drive is normal for women this early in marriage.

If you know that homosexual marriage is not a threat, good for you. I know that too, but I'm asking those who don't know the truth and have opposing opinions.

Ok. I am 21 and still live at home with my parents. I have had a couple of relationships but nothing ever serious. Well my dad and mom have recently started to get a little worried about me. Well long story short my dad has said he is on the look out for that special someone in my life. Even tho I have told him to back off he wont. He has met this guy he works with and has told him all about me and now is trying to set us up. GRRR... what would you do and how should I handle this? I mean he is my daddy for goodness sake and I am still daddy's little girl...or at least I was.

Ok, my girl has talked of proposing to me and I love her very much. I can't say for sure if it will happen but it could, and call me old fashioned, but I want to be the guy who proposes, I'm not really into the female proposing. Since I love her, and would love to marry her, I obviously don't want to say no, but part of me says I should just so I can be the one to propose.

What do you think of this situation? Am I being too chavinist? Whats a good way out of this dilemma?

We will be married for three years on July 2nd, but we have a bad relationship. He has cheated on me and has a history of lying. He said I should have never taken him back if I wasn't going to get over it. He says I constantly bring it up, and also he feels that I nag him too much and try to manipulate him into doing what I want him to do. I have stayed with him through thick and thin and I am committed, but he says he can't do this much longer. Tonight we were both yelling and he got in my face. Then he said he was leaving and I could do whatever and have whoever I want at the house. He said he is tired of my s***. He got up and started gathering up stuff. He said he doesn't want anything but the clothes he came with. I asked him how I was going to pay all of these bills and mortgage by myself. He told me to sell the house. That’s when he said I know he’s not going anywhere. I sat around and cried. I was almost about to pass out because ...

hi all,my ex wife said that she realised that she was getting feelings for the new boyfriend while we were together,i told her that she should have told me what was going on inside her head, she says that she couldn't have told me.
surely this would have been the right thing to do so maybe we could have saved the marriage, now when we talk she brings up everything bad that i ever did to her and it seems that she is trying to justify the split from her part,i no that marriges are hard things to work at,but she is putting thoughts nto my head that maybe i was not happy and this was best for both of us,
i no that sometimes i might have said that i could not go on with her in the past, but she was hard work, and in the long run i wanted 2 make it work for us and the kids and we all no that relationships have there ups and downs but she says that we had more downs than ups which is not true, she also said that the kids are not upset, like the new man ,sex is great what the hell please help me

We are modifying the agreement and I want to make visitation clear as my ex has started playing games. I want to make sure I address everything possible.
