I believe that pregnancy, child birth and babies are very 'icky'. Using the logic of the masses, does that mean that having children is morally wrong?

Let's outlaw children!!

Watching two guys make out and saying that's gross is just an opinion and I bet there are millions of gay and straight people around that would say, it's not icky at all!

My brother is gay and I am fine with it...i think that people fear what they cannot understand. That doesn't make it "icky" or wrong...

I agree with home-school and jones! And what is up with you using the word "icky"!? What are you like 9 years old!?

Gay marriage in my opinion is considered wrong because I believe marriage to be between a man and a woman. There is a reason why children can only be created by a man and woman!

It sounds like you are bitter with society over their views on gay marriage.

Personally, I have no feeling toward it. My feeling is pretty much neutral. In my opinion if two people are in love guy/guy or girl/girl and are happy together, not harming children, animals, or anyone else then so be it. I have several cousins in my family who are openly gay and it doesn't bother me at all. In fact one of my cousins has been with his boyfriend for over 15 years. My opinion, to each his own and if you're not harming anyone then who cares what other people say, and what society says. However, it sounds like you let the opinions of others and how society views gay marriage bother you. Unfortunately, I don't feel that this is something people will eventually find "ok".

*Using pregnancy, child birth and babies wasn't a very good analogy. That's just your opinion and I think a very LARGE percentage of people would even disagree with that opinion. At one time you were an icky baby : )

It's got nothing to do with the "icky" factor and everything to do with the fact that the one God of every major religion since the world began has ordained marriage to be the joining of a man to a woman. There is a reason behind marriage being reserved for men and women, even if we don't understand or fully appreciate that reason during this earthly existence. And nothing that we human beings can do, regardless of how smart we think are are, can change this fundamental immutable law without bringing down serious consequences - whether those consequences are immediately apparent to us or not.

No gay marriage is considered immoral by only slightly more than half the people in this country. They base this on an irrational belief in their invisible friend who told people to write things down on paper 1600 years ago. Oh and most importantly the masses have no logic. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. GO MO!

Marriage is the union of a man and a woman. You can't change the meaning of words with wishes. Marriage is Marriage. Call a homosexual union something else if you wish, but it isn't marriage
