You've let it go on 5 years? Wow! Either you don't let on or you're not as bothered by this as you should be. I suppose you've tried everything, I know I've been there. Try slipping some testosterone hormones into his food. Maybe that will get him going.

God created marriage as a means for BOTH partners to have an outlet for healthy sex in the relationship. Unless your husband has some physical or mental problem preventing him from satisfying you, then he has an obligation to ensure that your sexual needs are satisfied within your marriage. If everything was fine up until 5 years ago, then what happened at that point in time to change things? Was there a particular life incident he was going through that may have made him turn off sex for some reason? Was there anything that shook his self-confidence, particularly in the performance department? Talk to him and see if you can get him to open up about it: "it's old hat, boring" is a cop out and tells you nothing.

Honeymoon's over sweetheart. True, he may love you but not be in love with you. Big difference. Even so maybe a marriage counselor can help. If not move on with your sex life, have an affair or two. He might come around if he thinks he has competition.

The more hardworking a man is, the less interested in sex. Rightly or wrongly, he stuffs himself with responsibilities big and small and wants that promotion or raise. That is a lot of stress and stress causes aging and reduced sex desires.

both of you take a break from your routine. Go on a holiday, do some interesting things together. Something or anything that would keep you away from daily routine and chores.

It may help you and him rediscover yourself and eachother.

I'm sooooo sorry!!! That has to be so hard on you. Try talking to him and just say things like you love him so much and just want the chance to show him this love once in awhile. Show him that you want him.

I can't answer that. I wish I could. My wife has the same "disease." She had to get through a time of depression, which is a libido killer, but is off meds now. Action has not increased. Could he be depressed?

ask him for an open relationship, and have sex with other people. You still get everything else you want at home.

You sounded just like my wife ... she actually tried to arrange me to see her doctor to get advice. But i told her that there is nothing wrong with me. I can understand your husband. It would probably be priorities in life ... children's education, providing better living for the family, etc, etc.
