How many of you guys, and please give your ages if you are okay with that because it may be relevant) actually need sex daily? I hear this 24/7 thing, from many men who answer questions on here. I'd like to believe that men are not unhappy in their lives, or marriage, when sex occurs maximum of two-three times a week. Am I wrong? Hectic lives, etc.???

Early 40's (with same women for 22 years). Yes a real man thinks about it 24/7/365. Sex is tasty, delicious, fun, exciting and the best experience in the world. There is nothing better than it.
Because we think about all of the time, doesn't mean we can get it that often, even though we'd like to. 2-3 times a week is on the good side when both are working, caring for kids, making time for the kids, cleaning the house, cooking an doing everything else that needs to get done. "Hectic" is an understatment! Just find a couple of free minutes is tough, thus the quickies are even a challange. It's rough just having a 2 minute sample-lick, just to call if quits and get dressed to start the day...but sometimes that's just enough to satisfy our craving of a great women.
Because of schedules, you now have to schedule it. If you keep your end of the agreement, it's wonderful and once goes a long way. Failing to keep up your end of the agreement puts us (men) in a downward spiral.

The frequency of actual sex depends on many issues--newly married people are on and off each other a lot--that is because the emotions are still running high. Jobs, bills, stress, pressure, ---kids, that all takes away from the desire---men forget sex when they have other stuff to worry about. The sex should be mutually satisfying ---when BOTH are ready--not just a man--what about your happiness and pleasure??? It doesn't have to go bad---it can be kept happy for both if both work at keeping the romance going. I said BOTH--not just by you for him. Complaints???? talk about it when you have an issue--effective communication will always be the best thing when a problem arises.Talk nice and come to a mutual agreement. Relationships are supposed to grow and get stronger. There is more to a life together than sex--what happens if you or he get sick?? Then What?? Hey--good luck

I am 36 and would LOVE to have sex every day with my wife (even more than once some days) BUT since she is home with 3 kids all day and by the time we get them all in bed she is often too tired. Once a week is what my wife tries her best to do for me! If she were able to do it 2 or 3 times a week I would be in heaven!
We have been married 10 years and before kids we would 2 or 3 times a week, after each kid it has slowed down to once a week!

The 24/7 thing is something a guy would dream of yes and at any age. But lets face it, enough is enough already as any man would soon grow weary of sex each and every night, day after day. If a guy says any different, then he is either a sexaholic (yes there is such a thing) or he is flat out lying to you. Besides, how in the world would you keep that "first time" excitement going if you were actually going like rabbits every day? As far as my age? Old enough to know better, but young enough to go ahead and try it!

I am 37. Sex 2/3 times a week is ok but sometimes during stress week it should be 1 but .... for a long period of time !!

I would like to make love or fool around everyday . It doesn't happen that way but I really can't complain. We manage to find the time more often than not.
I'm going to be 44 soon, my Wife is 41.
