Am I correct in assuming there was a move involved? I mean it sounds like what you are saying is because he took another job somewhere else, you had to give up your job is that correct? Well if it is then no, he shouldn;t have to buy you time in the new pension because you are the one who chose to move with him. It was your choice. Yes I understand that you are married but you still have a choice. If you felt this angry about it you should have talked to him about it before the new job. Sorry to be so harsh but look at the military wives. They not only go it alone most of the time, worry about their husbands facing things they could only imagine and move all over. They get a career and loose a career. Some do complain but most of them accept it. Good luck

I am assuming that you had to make a move in order for you to lose 10 years of seniority. Ya should have discussed this before he took the new job.

I take it you moved in order for your husband to take this new job. My answer is no he owes you nothing. You made a CHOICE to move with your husband. Maybe the two of you should have discussed the possible move BEFORE he took the new job, maybe YOU should have been clear on YOUR expectations.

What happened to married people really loving each other?
Is money more a concern than being with the person you married, presumably for love? Just asking your question says a lot about your relationship together.
