If she is on the way to a divorce than she all ready has a lot of emotional issues to deal with. No matter the outcome you can try to be her friend, but do not pressure her. It is a well known fact that women when they feel confused turn to the first knight in shining Armour. You would be a better man for just supporting her and not preying on her weak emotional state. If it goes down a certain way, than she will come to you. But if it is only because she needs a hero it will be based on all the wrong things.

Unhappy and NOT in the process of getting divorced: DEFINITELY off limits! Can you say "adultery" and "homewrecking"?
Unhappy but in the process of getting divorced: STILL adultery, plus there may be many issues between her and her mate that you have the potential to (unwilllingly) be caught up in.
Try getting involved with one of the millions of SINGLE women that are looking for a decent guy to hook up with.

She is about to get divorced so wait.
Married, no matter what the relationship status.
It also could cost her alot in the divorce if the husband finds out.
You also do not know if shes telling the truth about her divorce.
But if she is as bas as you tell us she is, drop her.
Move on...
"Except that she is a woman"
Tons of other women in the world with a couple more added perks then that ;)

be her friend until after the divorce, cuz if you two get involved her husband could use it against her in court if things get ugly!! And that would hurt your relationship!! she'll neede a friend and after the divorce you be the one who was there for her and it will make you two stronger !!!! Plus it is alway good to wait til after the divorce just in case they decide not to go through with it and work things out it could save you the pain to wait!!! Good Luck!!

She'll be lucky if you do leave her alone. What a horrible way to talk about a woman. You sound like a walking hormone. Didn't you have ANY upbringing??? Scank.

The first part is leave her alone because she's still technically married and you don't want to be the reason she finalizes the divorce.
The second part is you're an idiot.

Hard question to answer.
My view on this is that if a women is being abused by her spouse in some way and you can do a better job and not abuse her, you should go for it.
