I read these questions of males and females ( I don't call them men and women) asking other people advice on how to keep a married man or if he will leave his wife? visa versa for the females.

I tell them to go talk to the other spouse, how you would you feel.... if you were the other person?
Tell them they should be ashamed, call them names like floosie, tell them that they are to lazy to get there own mate.
Then I get these feeble excuses of; "well, he approched me first". Well tell him to go to h- e- double hockey sticks. get a clue saing no is just as easy as yes. do you think I am being mean or hard- core in my responces to these people.... because I had some one cheat on me once? what is your opinion of some one who dates a married person be it male or female???

I can understand your urge to call some people names, and that will certainly satisfy the urge that arose out of your moral indignation, but it will have little effect beyond that. If it's your intention to express your opinion (weigh in on a matter, so to speak) then name-calling will be sufficient to that task. But if you're interested in reaching the mind of the other person, perhaps with the hope of getting them to see your reasoning (or the error of their own ways) you'll find name calling has an opposite effect because it causes most people to "shut down" and few ideas are actually exchanged. No one listens for long to a barrage of insults. It may make you feel better, but it leaves a problem unaddressed...and if you're not going to address their issue in a way that can conceivably help them, why bother talking at all?

It's bad to get involved with a married person. A lot of people get in without realizing what they are doing or not thinking things through. You have to keep in mind what a famous divorce attorney wrote one time 'no one cheats in a happy marriage the other spouse has to take some ownership in it.' If a man or woman either one is cheating chances are they are looking for what they are not getting at home. With men it is usually sex or the physical, with women it is an emotional attachement they are usually seeking.

I asked that question many times and what I came up with is this!

GENDER protection!
Woman protect women , men protect men and to hell with who's right who's wrong it about the genital differences!

Men will call womem every dirty word in the book, but if a man does it then give the the man a break he don't no better!

The true INSANITY of it is most of us are treading water in our own lives and in the end it's up to us , and no one else to either work on your relationship or be elsewhere!

Hope that helps you!

Its a universal problem and those who sneak into others life would continue to do so no matter how much you convince them. Its like thieves no never stop stealing even though they are penalised time and again. But the question you raised is a multi facted one and needs to be looked into deeply. hope better for you

I think it's a crime and should be treated as one. Some countries would stone you to death if you're caught, but here in the U.S. morals are low and people are all about what makes themselves feel good. We're suppose to put others before ourselves, but that seems to be part of the past.

it is wrong....if you are single and find someone interesting, then find they are married, back off.. if people would spend the amount of time they spend on having an affair, on their spouse they wouldn't have the problems they have. Have an affair With your spouse... what I mean is, make intimate dates, phone just to say I love you, surprise them with gifts for no reason...... so, yes, it it absolutely without an excuse to have an affair

I can't write exactly what I think of them here because I'm a lady! Let's just say it's not good. No, I don't think you're being too mean or hard-core.I don't have anything nice to say about cheaters either.

I don't. I'm the same way. I am disgusted by the people who actually have the audacity to pretend they are mature enough to marry when they rely on playground intimidation tactics to hold together their marriage.

If it makes you a *****, I'm a ***** too. Let's start a club.

I think it's just sad that they are demeaning themselves...
However, the issue needs to be with the spouse who cheats, NOT with whom they are cheating...
