My husband and I were married earlier this year and are now expecting our first child together. He has an ex-girlfriend that he was engaged to a few years back, but she dumped him. Even although she knows about us, she still phones and texts him every so often, most recently to ask for his address so that she could send a congratulations card on our recent wedding (she had previously requested that she ben invited to the wedding!) My husband - who I trust implicitly - says that he has told her to stop calling and now simply ignores her messages and calls. Why does she keep calling and what should I do about it? She does not live locally and I have never met her.

We got married 10 months ago. We love each other very much. But none of us seems to have interest in sex.
Is our marriage gonna suffer for this?
On an average how often do married couple have sex?
We didn't have it for a couple of months ... (I know!!!)

He was abused as a toddler by his uncle and a male babysitter. He remembered about it three years ago. I still love him very much, we still communicate and he says that I'm a big part of his life and cares very much about me. I am very confused and I think he is too. When he needs to talk, he calls me. But he found somebody else. I don't know if I should wait for him or go on with my life. He was always good to me and I didn't know we had a problem. All I think about is him and it's been seven months. I realy hurt inside.

It seems that women think they should use the children as bargaining chips during divorces. Some of the dirty tricks include hiding the children, accusing the husbands of all kinds of ugly things and disparaging the father. It seems like all a woman has to do is claim abuse and they can get away with murder like the preacher's wife did. There was no proof of anything to do with abuse and even though the jury found her guilty, the judge let her off. I can see his reason even though I do not agree that the kids lost one parent, they should not lose another. She shot the man in cold blood in front of the kids.

It seems that in most divorce cases, the judges side with the moms, no matter what reality is or the facts. What gives the woman the right to take away parental rights from a father based on lies and deceit? Granted that the child resided in the mother for nine months, why does society allow the father to be negligible in rights yet pay for the privilege?

I am saying, most not all. I do admit that some dads should not be given children. I am seeking redress for the rest of us. I am pointing out that society has ignored facts and reality to give more rights to a mother simply because of the biology of our species.

I blame Hollywood and many well meaning social workers but it is time for Dads to join together and change. I am blaming judges without backbones. I am blaming lawyers who perpetuate this for money. I blame mothers who are greedy and seeking revenge. I blame the dads for not joining forces and seeking help from each other. Please write me if you agree. I will be launching a child and family protection portal soon to help me deal with my personal situation

me and my husband have been married 2 years as of july 17th, this year, but for the last 3 months we have been separated due to his constant lying, putting his friends and family before me,he also had a fling with a 20 year old, he is 31 !! what did it for me was when he gave a crackhead some money!! he denied the fact and we had a fight, he left, well why he was gone he left me with all the bills, i got evicted, lights turned off, i had to go to court. well this guy that liked me helped me with my living situation, we now stay together. all my family is from the north. since my husband has found out about all of this, he has people spying on me and tells me i am wrong but how i say when u left and gave me your a$$ to kiss?

My husband just got a job at a fast food restaurant and I don't want him to work there. I told him to find a man's job not a high school kid job. The reason why I cant trust him is because a couple of jobs he has had has ( years ago) resulted in him cheating on me. I know people say once a dog always a dog, he has proven not to be unfaithful for the past 3 years but that doesnt mean he wont do it again. I told him if he ever cheated again I would leave him. I'm tired of living with this fear. I love him but how do I know he wont do it again. We have our kids and he has matured since then and he tells me that he hates himself for what he put me through years ago. I was very hurt by him and argue about his past with him even today. I never let it die. Should I trust him? Or is it too drastic if I leave him before he gives me a reason to.

Recently, the Pew Reserach Center announced findings that children were less of a factor of a successful marriage than things like chore sharing and sexual activites. Do you think children are important in a good marriage? Do you think that adults today spend more time on themselves and each other than their kids? Do you think that the idea of focusing on making Mom and Dad happier helps make the kids happier as well?

My husband's friend spent the day with another woman and he wants my husband to pick him up and drive him home bc this friend doesn't want his wife to find out. The friend has not admitted to cheating but if he has to lie to his wife what else would you call it? This is not the first time the friend had lied and used my husband/us as an excuse and I/we don't like it. Any suggestions? My husband has been friends with this guy for almost twenty years and doesn't want to end the friendship, nor do I want him to. This guy hasn't done things like this before, only been married a few years.

1 out of 5 times when a woman opens her mouth, she talks about equality. They talk abt and want equal rights and opportunities in almost every sector that men dominate. In fact, in certain sectors, women have even over-taken men.

And if women are progressing so much, why is it that only during divorce do they realise that they are women and take advantage of their feminism to "earn maintenance money" from their ex-husbands?

Why such double-standards?

I have a friend who is seeing his ex-wife. He says they are friends and no romance involved. I keep seeing people on here who are thinking/talking about going back with an ex-wife, and/or ex-husband. I'm just curious to see how many have done this and if it worked out or was a good idea? It seems to me the same problems would be there as before. What makes it work the second time?

I have been in a long term relationship for over 8 yrs, feeling insecure and therefore clingy to my livin boyfriend (more like husband) I also have gained about 35 pounds since we met. We were fighting and I told him I was insecure because were not "intimate" as often anymore he said in these words "When we make love it's cause I love you not because I think your hot". It hurt me to hear him say that what would you do? We also work full time together and have recently moved to a city where he has family and friends and I have nobody so I like always want to be with him. He's distance himself and wants us to seperate for a week or two just to have some space...I am going to lose weight and try to let go.

I don't mind helping out every now and then - but he expects me to do "things" that a wife would do and well, we are not even engaged! I am starting to feel like a employee instead of a girlfriend. We may go away for a weekend, but it is to work on one of his vacation homes. I think he thinks I have nothing else to do. I have three children of my own and I am starting to see some big red flags. Am i just being parinoid? Help

Hi everyone,

I am married to the love of my life for the past 2 years now but for the past few months everything is not the same.

She has stopped reacting to situations and has stopped showing affection.

I have tried several times to ask her the issue and discuss the matter (if any) openly, but i never get a feeling of interest from her side.

I am extremely afraid and not able to understand what is happening.

Please analyse the situation neutrally and reply.

Helppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My man is a compulsive liar. He lies about the stupidest little things, but big things also. He has stolen money from me numerous times, and more recently told me that a friendship he had made was with a man (but was really a girl). I have asked him to break off the friendship. My reasoning is that if he were genuine he wouldn't have lied to me about it in the first place.
I think that I've had enough. I love him but cannot handle being lied to daily.
He says it will stop and that he will make it up to me.
What should I do?

My husband has the fantasy of a male, female, male threesome and sometimes I do feel that if he wants to share me that he doesn't love me. He says it would be a turn on to watch me have sex with another guy. I'm afraid if we do this, that he will want his, because it is only fair, for him to be with another girl. What do ya'll think?
