I have a friend who is seeing his ex-wife. He says they are friends and no romance involved. I keep seeing people on here who are thinking/talking about going back with an ex-wife, and/or ex-husband. I'm just curious to see how many have done this and if it worked out or was a good idea? It seems to me the same problems would be there as before. What makes it work the second time?

I got divorced, then 3 months later got back with my ex. He moved in to my house that I had just bought. 10 months later he was gone again, cheating again. Left me in so much financial trouble, I lost my house, my car, my job, all because of him. I take part of the blame for believing in him again, but he knew exactly what he was doing and purposely set out to ruin me because i had The audacity to divorce him in the first place. I say it won't work. There was a reason the divorce happened to begin with, more than likely the problem will still be there.

We got divorced were apart about a year started dating again, moved back in with each other got married a year and a half after that. It's been three years, she just moved out and filed for divorce again. Said she would rather be friends, we still talk, but there is no way I would do it again. I love her but she just can't decide what (or who) she wants. I don't know anyone that it has worked for.

A relationship is a choice to be together. Its as fragile and as strong as that single choice. The thing people forget in marriage is that choice is made every hour of every day. Sadly, for many people they think that once they are married they don't to make that choice to stay together and its at that point that they start to drift away from each other. As for the problems people have they will always be there, but its how you decide to treat them is the important thing. Is it mine problem, your problem or our problem?

I did not get back fully with my ex, but she used to come to see me, because she loved the way I went down on her. She left me to marry a rich guy, who just was not into oral sex.
