my sister in law keeps trying to break me and husband up saying that Im try to keep him away. And saying lies like I tried to report her and her children to C.P.S. Last year she asked to borrow my car for a trip I didnt want to say no so I said my car needed new tires. she and her boyfriend said they would put new tires before they took the trip. when i got my car back i found out that they put used tires, the service guy told me that I should not continue to drive my car without new tires. I'm tired of the bs. She makes me so angry that I have not spoken with her for almost a year. Do you think im over reacting. Do you think I should just let it go?

I have been married for a little over 3 yrs. I had known my husband for only 3 months before we got married. I had just broken up with my ex 3 months prior to that. I have secretly always kept in touch with my ex since I been married because we were friends and I loved him. He was just not moving fast enough and I jumped on the first boat coming. Since this marriage I have had numerous of arguements, physical abuse (even in front of his parents, flipped me on my face), I have left 3 times but being foolish saying this is my marriage and wanted to make it work and trying to be all that I can be in Gods eyes and stay. I have been unhappy since the first time he put his hands on me it has not been the same for me. I had talk to other men because of my unhappiness but nothing pass just chatting online. This was a 1 ago. When I forget something he says that I am stupid and I don't think. I never think. I rather not talk to him. anything I say he takes it wrong or he down grades me.

It seems like no one is willing to work at their marriages. The phrase "til death do us part" should be replaced by "until you screw up or I find someone that I like a little bit better". I just don't understand. When did marriage become something that could be thrown away like yesterday's garbage?

Both in our late 40s, she's been divorced twice, wants to marry me, tells me I'm the love of her life. I was married once and divorced, and I don't want to get married again unless it's the right person and circumstances. I was never blessed with children, would have loved to have them, but it takes two to tango and ex wife finally decided she didn't want kids. I think if you have kids it means you're committed to your children and spouse forever unless something truly catastrophic happens. I feel "third best" with this woman - she has loved two men enough to bear their children, yet she will never have kids with me. How can she tell me she loves me more than any man ever in her life? I love her, too, I just feel like I'm the "good enough" guy to marry at this later stage in her life. Is it possible for a woman to have kids by two other men, and yet love a third man more who fathered none of her children?

is there any way to convince someone you love this isn't true??? i cheated on my ex with his brother and after he decided to work things out with me but nothing has worked since. Mind you, he cheated on my first and our relationship was at a very weak point when this happened....not that it was right. Anyways, i feel horrible still and i know i still love him although we've been apart for a year now...i just miss him. We have a child together so he is still very much in my life...how can i show him i'm sorry and made a HUGE mistake?? is there a way?? i'm not saying i want to be back (although at some point i might) with him because we both caused one another immense pain...i just want him to know that ive changed and that even when that did happen i loved him....i was just trying to get revenge i guess....sounds horrible but it's the truth. anyways, is there a way to make it right????

I have good relations with both ex-husbands - during both divorces, we were able to effectively communicate our pain and happiness during and after the marriage. Forgiveness has been given on both sides, in both marriages/divorces - but still - I'm frightened. Anyone with experience in this matter is more than welcome to respond!

I have not had sex with my husband in almost 3 years. i just dont find him attractive. We moved to an area over 2 years ago to maybe fix our marriage, and its still the same. he is not there emotionally. i have fallen in love with another man for 8 months. we have two children together. we have been together almost 9 years married more than 6. only reason we are married because i got pregnant. should i stay just for the kids? and know my soulmate is out there. i just cant see ruining my kids life. should i leave him or put up with it the rest of my life? ive told him before how i feel and he doesnt do anything about and he acts like our marriage is fine. he doesnt do anything like hold the door open and he doesnt help when i carry things. the guy ive been seeing has given me flowers more than my husband ever has. What should i do?

Here's the situation. Me and my wife are divorcing we have two kids ages 9 and 12. We own a house. It is in my name. I want to do what is best for the kids. My wife wants me out of the house. She said that she's going to move out if I don't, and take the kids with her.

She's the one who wanted to separate. She already started dating. She doesn't come home sometimes. And when she does, she's drunk. It does hurt to see her like that, but I can't control her.

I told her that I won't move out, but I'm having second thoughts.

I want to do what is best for the kids. They're used to being at the house. It is their home, but If I move out, I will be spending more than what I earn - I can't afford to pay for the house and rent an apartment at the same time. Plus my credit is tied to the house. I also need to take care of my own wellbeing.

I want to do what is best for the kids. Should I move out? And if I move out, would the kids think that I abandoned them?

I've been reading a lot lately and come to the conclusion that whats needed today is BREEDING LICENSES because the children in this country are suffering from there parents ignorance needing to be happy 100% of the time if not get up and leave with no regard for kids!

I mean look at everything, and that poor child in FLORIDA who parents were out getting high and finding playmates!

Look at the woman who killed her own kids in South Carolina, because her boyfriend was going to dump her because of the kids!
n New York that kid emaciated was 60 pounds and was 12 years old!

That kid in Boston who was selling drugs at his mothers behest because he would not get dinner if he didn't! he was 7 years old GOD!

My wife and I adopted all our children and we had to get approved before we could adopt them so why not have expand on that system to license parents of today?

The 4th amendment should not allow CHILDREN to SUFFER this way.
Condemned prisoners are treated better then kids today!

When I was twenty-eight, I met the girl of my dreams, and we married. She died five years ago (after we had been married for four years). I am still in contact with her parents, though very loosely (a Christmas card once a year, occaisonally a short letter). I recently met a woman, and we started a relationship. We just found out that she was pregnant, and would like to marry. Should I tell my first wife's parents? If so, how? I still love her very much, and I don't want to look like I've forgotten her - I'm afraid that, to them, it'll look like I'm casting her memory aside. Thank you very much for your answers.

Don't get me wrong it's not for me. It's for one of my girlfriends who got married about 10 months ago. She and her husband went to Las Vegas and got married there. She's asked me to search for some help before getting a lawyer. So I turn to you guys. I have very little or no knowledge as to how divorce works. As I understand, her husband doesn't want to file a divorce. Is it possible for her to file a divorce on her own and if it is, will it go through? I believe they don't really have a house nor a car nor joint bank accounts (it's very complicated) together on both their names so no assets will be involved. All she wants is to be is out of the relationship legally. Also, will this appear on record? Will lawyers be necessary? What about the cost? She's still in college. Pls...suggestions will be nice. And pls no personal opinion on her wrong-doing. She's a very nice person and she's very regretful. I can't stand to look at her suffering. Thank you!

my husband says his lady coworker has friend characteristics he likes such as saying that shes fun, interesting, etc. so i asked him if he likes her enough as a friend that if i wasn't around via me have died or us not being married but bf gf, etc would he persue going out with her and he got mad at me asking that cause he new it would upset the both of us because his answer was yes that if he wasn't married or in this situation any other lifetime he would have met her he would have persued something. this really bothered me so it makes me have doubts about him and trusting them. have you ever asked that question to your significant other? i new i shouldn't have asked but i thougt he was going to tell me no especially since he says he doesn't know that much about her. im worried he will start liking her as more than a friend. do i have reason to worry though he says he loves me and shes just a friend that i know can lead to more. what do u think?

His poems state that he does not know how to express his feelings for her. My thing is.... he's married why is he sending poems to another woman?? I want to ask her about it and just blow the whole thing out of the water.

My fiance works in Iraq and makes good money, but has really amassed some debt by over-spending. He owes 3 years worth of back taxes. He has bought two daughters vehicles and himself a truck and a Harley motorcycle. He is trying to get things paid off, but what really bothers me is that he has a daughter that he pays EVERYTHING for her. He has to pay $1,000.00 in child support each month (12,000 a year). Plus he is picking up all her college expenses (around 10,000 a year). He bought her a Jeep Grand Cherokee for 22,000 and continues to pay $1,000 a month on that (12,000 a year). He pays the mortgage on the house where she lives (600.00 a month or 7,200 a year). He picks up all the utility bills (around 250.00 a month or 3,000 a year). So all in all he spends about $44,200 per year on her. Since he is so in debt I have told him that maybe she should pick up some of the costs such as the utility bills, but he doesn't want her to have to do this. What should I do??
