In Florida, all he can do is go to jail if he touches you again after you report him... simply go to the clerk of the court in your town or city and file for an exparte injunction (protection order against domestic violence) and no,... he can not take anything from you..including your green card. He will be lucky if he doesn't end up in jail....

if he is violent and you are his target... thats grounds for a divorce...

Don't let him keep hitting you... report his sorry *** before he hurts you really bad or kills you...

GOOD LUCK

Your husband can't take away your green card because he didn't give it to you. The government did. If you entered into a "green card marriage," then you _might_ lose your green card when the marriage dissolves, but that's by no means sure. Divorce for reasons of domestic violence is no fault of yours, and the court will probably let you stay in this country. I can't tell you more without knowing the particulars of your case, and that's something that you should discuss with a lawyer rather than with total strangers on the Internet.

You can get a divorce when ever you want. About your green card that is hard to answer because there is a lot of information that is missing. Even if you had told us the rest of the information I don't think we would be qualified to answer that question. I suggest getting in touch with a domestic violence center, here it is called a women's place, they would be able to help you and answer your question, He could hurt you bad the next time. So don't wait get help.

No matter what you do here, he cant legally take away your green card. Only a Judge or INS can legally do that so go ahead and divorce him and get as far away as you can from him now.

No he cant take anything away from you except what he already has. Your common sence I dont care what the situation He is abusing you your first concern should be to get out before he kills you.

They can't take it away unless it was obtained under false pretenses and no one can predict if someone is going to become abusive. You should not put up with his abuse. Leave him.

With or without a green card no one has a right to abuse you especially physically. Don't let anyone abuse you WHATSOEVER.
