I am currently a student in college. I am 25 years old so of course I should probably be done with school by now. I had my first son at the age of 18, so working and trying to make it through college as a single parent was tough for me. Now, 7 years later I am married with a 2yr old son.I love my husband so much. He is a hardworking police officer and also the bread winner of the family. Things are okay financially, but sometimes they aren't. When money problems arise my hubby then turns on me and makes me feel as if I am just wasting time in school and that I should be working. I am a full time student (Junior)so I'm in school everyday, all day. Then I pick up the kids, come home, help with homework, cook dinner and also try and maintain the house. My hubby on the other hand works from 2-11p.m. Then comes home and watches TV...nothing else. And on his off days it's hard for me to get him to take the trash out. I'm just wondering if I should stop going to school and get a job.

Why is it that whenever my hubby gets upset he immediately starts talking about my ex-boyfriend and comparing my situation with my ex?
We could have an argument or discussion about cars and he'll state the ex's name!
Why does he do this? I've tried asking him why he mentions the ex, and his response is more anger and then points the finger at me?!
I don't understand...I mean if the conversation was about ex's; ok, mention names, but if we're no where near the topic of my last ex, why would he mention him?
Keep in mind, my relationship with this certain ex wasn't even anything special. He wasn't my first love, in fact I was just with him to kill time...seriously...my ex was that irrelevant to me. Yet my husband, who I love soo much and think is so great, always compares our situation to the looser ex that couldn't make a difference in a fly's life!
The only connection b/n the 2 was that my husband was my best friend at the time of dating my ex (who I was only with 8 months). Help!

He lives an hour a way and doesn't have a reason to be in the area. I live off the main road and it's not like he's just driving by. One of my neighbors said he stopped in front of my house and said that he was watching them walk in. I don't understand what is going on. We have a 19 month old together whom he doesn't see or half of the time pay child support for. But he keeps spying. What should I do? I can't prove he's stalking me, but it's getting kind of obvious.

Ok I've been separated for about 7 months now and the divorce is going through next week. It's nothing complicated, no kids or anything like that, just simple divorce.

I've been dating this new girl now, we are completely in love each other, its definitely for real, we think alike, find ourselves copying each other at times, we have an unusual amount of things in common. Everything is going great, shes definitely a very, very rare find in a woman. No problems at all. She's perfect in my eyes.

I did a stupid thing however... she knew I was married before, she asked me if the divorce is final or in the process... I dont know why I didnt say the latter. She thinks I got divorced 7 months ago. but it will be over with next week. I'm scared to tell her the truth now, is it a big deal? I mean say if I got married to this girl someday in the future, will it be a big deal? A way for her to find out? Maybe I should get an anullment? I don't want her to think I that I doubt her or somethin

i met a man over a year ago and was instantly connected to him. We spoke for hours and hours, wishing we could have met under different circumstances, but since he was married, it went no further. I recently spoke to him again and he says he is getting adivorce and wants to be with me. It all sounds insanely cheesy- but I do believe it was love at first sight for both of us, although I've never believed in such a thing. This would require me to move to another state while his divorce is still being processed. I want to be with him, but think it may be wise to wait a while. However, I do want him to know that I am serious about being with him...

Hi,
First let me say my heart goes out to you if you are or have been in an abusive relationship. I was myself many years ago and have since helped others see their is hope and love all around you just for the asking. I know if you are in an abusive relationship you feel helpless and don't think you can make it, and if you are lucky enough like me to get out then you know of the better life that awaits. I am currently writing a book and would love for you to write telling me your story . I will not use real names or location. If you are currently in an abusive relationship please share how it is effecting you and your family. I would also love for those of you that have gotten out to share your story as well to encourage and give hope to the many who feel as hopeless as we once have. The only compensation you will receive is knowing you are helping others with your life story and giving them the hope for a better life. Write me at Trapped_No_More@yahoo if you don't want to post here

I love a man I have not seen in a while. He is my best friend. He is interested in being a missionary and traveling a great deal to dangerous places; I do not want to go to dangerous places, but can certainly travel. When I have asked for details, how long we would be gone, where we would be, I get bull answers. It seems to me he hasn't really looked into this, and doesn't do misson work here. However, I love him very much, feel I cannot live without him and want the best for us. I know, in the end, it is my decision if I go along. I would like to wait it out, and see if this is what he really wants to do. In the meantime, I still love him very much, and I miss him like crazy. Any tips on how to avoid this hardship, continue the friendship, see each other more often and spend quality time together (he lives in atlanta, i in ohio) and i'm scared we'll go our separate ways. It's hard to hope; he's always been there 4 me; but sometimes, i want to walk away; or to be married!

My sis is 43 and lives with her family, (daughter 14 & Husband) with my parents in the same house in another state. My husband comes from a family of 3 boys and 1 girl. His parents are elderly and his sister steals from the father. He needs to be in a h ome with his wife (she is one already with alzheimers). He won't go because she talked him into giving him his house and car. Both would have to be sold if he went to home. Anyway, we live in warm weather vacation area. His sister volunteers our house to any relative who needs recuperation. I can't say no to his parents because they are his parents. This last time was it for me. He is 90 and soiled all my furniture, etc. even though I am a nurse and know what precautions to take. My husband was in Vietnam & cop.Violence rules our lives, verbal no phys

I'v been married twice, and divorced twice. Both times I truly put my everything into the marriage. I never cheated or lied or did anything that broke the relationship. Both times I was done wrong and continued to try to make it work even after the fact. Divorce comes with such a bad stigma around it, how do I express my unique situation without sounding like a victim?

I have been married for 30 years. the last ten have been a struggle. I rarely get sex or even touched. I am thinking about looking around for someone else and thought about changing my whole life. I am not depressed, just frustrated and tired of begging. I haven't ask or begged for sex for 2 months now and decided i just don't care anymore. We have nothing else in common. I would like to be with someone who wants to do things with me. I am not fat either. I have been working out at a gym recently and feeling better and more confident about myself, no thanks to him. I am just very lonely.

With planned marriages in India to exrort money,
staying for a month, then nag them to divorce them, then acuse them for divorcing , denying their own demands for it. And fooling, police interpol with crocodile tears, these gangs, take advatage of media, too, who are in a hurry for juicy news even if it is one sided.! Feeling extremely sorry for the innocent youngsters and their middle class old parents who cannot fight these gangs, helped by NGOs, I beg to all concerned to save justice and truth, and save us also being crushed mercilessly by these masterly deceitful, experienced liars, by pleading to the Govt of India to end this menace of sec 498 and nagging innocent people at important work in USA, Canada & UK. This section is a hidden cobra which can fall on anyone in India and ruin a whole respectable family.
Please dont take it lightly those who are suffering only will know now. Hope & pray that none of you will suffer!

I know of someone who has lied, most of the time. He even denies his own children, when it's convenient for him.

Will he ever realize (without medication) the pain he caused to everyone he ever met in his path. He has four (known) kids, one w/o his lastname and never met, two w/marriage/divorce and a third he denied while still married (no contact), until the DNA test resulted positive.

Is there any chance he will ever come to terms and accept his responsibilities?

He may very well end up alone w/o a mate, but can he have any possitive influence on his kids, those who love him unconditionally?

I am pregnant, and I think that I look dang good. I am halfway through my pregnacy I weigh 124lbs, mostly my belly and boobs. Well, everyday for as long as I have known my husband. He sits on the couch and I come and sit on his lap Well today, after we came back from the OB, I was in a good mood and came and sit on his lap. He says," Baby, how much weight did the nurse say you gained?" I just looked at him. Then he said,"I can tell a difference." Would that have offended you??? Then when I got mad he says,"You are beautiful honey, you are just a little thick."

Please Note: DO NOT ATTACK MY HUSBAND!!!

I don't think that it would for my husband.! Aren't psychiatrists to eager to hand out pills and send you home, then you have an added problem of addiction???? My husband was never shown what love is supposed to be like when he was growing up. His parent's were to busy showering each other with gifts and vacations and taking pictures of each other. Now, my husband is controlling, emotionally distant, and he certainly doesn't buy me things or take me on vacations. I never knew all of this until a few years ago and weve been married for 16yrs. Do you think that a psychiatrist would be able to help him? Or should we try harder to show him what its all about? I asked a question about him this morning that might help you answer this one. Thanks for all your help!! We need it!!!

Is there a pillow that will after being scrunched all night go back to its normal shape ? I am so tired of buying new pillows because his is so mishapen. I actually bought 15.00 pillows in hopes that the more expensive ones would be better. It didn't work. I know this probably sounds like an unimportant question but to me it is very important.
