Ok, weigh in with your thoughts. My husband and I just got in a fight. I'm pregnant. My hubby, who is a great guy, plays Halo about 10-20 minutes everyday. He also goes to Halo parties with his buddies once in a while. I get annoyed when he wants to go and we fight. I personally dont see the value in hours of shooting things when you could be spending time with your family. Plus, I don't want our first child to have that example and think violent games are perfectly ok. BUT, I understand that he enjoys playing and being with friends, so I want to support him. I just find it more and more difficult to be supportive without feeling angry at him for giving up our time for Halo time. What do you think? Am I wrong for telling him honestly that I dont like it? He gets resentful and says I am trying to make him feel bad. Any advice? This is becoming a big issue for us. And lately, even when I'm away working at night, and he isn't giving up our time to play , I'm still irritated when he plays.

Alot of people have told me that once another man comes into the picture with me and my kids that he will probably be very jealous . Has any man out there experienced this or anyone know someone who has felt like this?

I have been married 15 yrs & have 2 kids. Over the yrs my husband has not held a job for more than 2 yrs. it's always someone elses fault for the failure, never him. The last 5 yrs have been a financial fiasco now we have a looming foreclosure, 2nd one i might add. I am now working and i love my new job, but i don't make a lot and i'm an emotional wreck. i don't even think i like him anymore and our kids haved picked up on it. i have mentioned counseling but he won't go. i've never been on my own and it's scary, but it can't be worse than this.

I have a girlfriend of 2 years who just asked for break up. The reason due to me always making her cry. It makes me very sad everytime I know she cried, but sometimes, I just don't know I had caused that. In arguments, the more I explains the more heated the arguments become. I think we persecute each other based on the words that we have spoken. Each word is judged without giving each other the benefit of doubt. This is my first relationship and I am dissapointed it ended this way. Take this scenario. During a cool off period, she called me but refused to say things, and made me repeat myself many times before she will answer. I was sick and that made me tired and restless, so I told her if she has nothing to say, it will be better to go sleep early. She was angry and hung up on me. When I called back, she said she dun want to speak to me and even ask me to go die. I dun understand, she knows I was sick yet she dun ask a thing about me. Who is wrong? I am confused, and dissapointed.

This lady said she married her husband for the right reason, his penis. Is that a good thing to say about her husband if she really loves him. But she's always talking good about him, so I don't know.

I became a 'Cleric' last October and was considering performing commitment, wedding, and renewal ceremonies for non religious/alternative couples. I was raised Christian but consider myself agnostic and am still a spiritual individual. I just wanted to get a general idea of how many people would be interested in having someone perform a ceremony for them who was willing to do customized (celtic etc) ceremonies before I decided to establish this as a service.

My boyfriend's wife of 16 years died a year ago from diabetes and alcoholism. He is still dealing with his grief issues which is okay by me.
Should I be concerned about his being the husband of an alcoholic?
He took care of his sick, alcoholic wife for at least four years. Is he an enabler? Was he codependent? How do I find out if he was or is resentful?

I am a single woman, who is about to get married for the first time. He called and told me that on this Friday after we get married, we are going to take a vacation in Las Vegas. Great, I thought. But following this, he said, yeah, I got us a time-share deal, which was a good deal. I said, I'll talk to you soon, and hung up the phone.

On this memorable weekend, we are going to the timeshare meeting in Las Vegas.

I'm horrified to find out what more would come out in the future. Will I have to live in fear of everyone finding out what kind of a person that I have married?

My husband of 2 years - dated for 8 has been acting strange, most recently - I woke up at 12am and he wasnt home, when i called him to ask where he was he said don't worry about it i don't have to know everything. I'm hurt, we have two kids together (close in age). I'm trying everything I can to save this marriage, I pray and think VERY hard before I speak, I've lost 10 pounds, I put more effort into my housecleaning and beauty routines. I try to have a hot meal on the table by 7 ( I work 40 hrs/wk) I want my husband to be happy, but how much of myself am I supposed to compromise to do this. He doesn't help with feedings, doesn't come to church, just hangs out and plays on myspace. I'm very tired and need advice from a non-involved party. Our friends and family have clearly started to take sides. I don't want a divorce, he doesn't want counseling, I'm so confused and upset.

I've recently started talking to my ex. I really love seeing him, but I'm in love with someone else. The one I want to be with is married. We've wanted to be together for over 2 years. He has three kids, and has to wait for the youngest to start kindergarten, which isn't until fall 2008. I drive myself crazy every night thinking about us being together. He is my soulmate. On the other hand my ex is always calling and wanting to be there for anything I might need, which feels really good because my soulmate can never be there. My soulmate texts me and calls me a lot. He wants to continue seeing eachother as much as we can in the meantime, but it's too hard for me when I've been waiting for so long. I don't want to see him, but I do. Should I forget about him, or wait? If I forget about him my ex might actually have a shot at winning me over. But he's cheated on me in the past. We broke up because I wanted to be with my soulmate, which was 2 1/2 years ago.

my friend brendas husband went 2 jail about a month ago, and she got caught sleeping with my husbands friend anthony. so my husband does not want me to associate with her anymore, nor does he want 2 associate with his friend. the thing is brenda husband is good friends with my husband. so the other day brenda called me needing a ride cuz she ran out of gas, so my husband told her 2 call anthony. so she hung up and called me back talking ****, saying i am a bad friend & that my man is a cheater that we shouldnt be friends no more. fine. so about 20 min later my friend carol called me, apparently brenda ***** a$$ told her i was talking ****. so whatever me and carol will talk it out. but doesnt it sound like she is trying to cause us problems, just so we dont tell her husband. should we tell him, he wasnt even locked up for 2weeks when she slept with anthony. keep in mind, my hubby is good friend with brendas husband, should we tell him? or just keep it a secret?

I have been friends with this couple for about 2 years.Me and his wife work together.I went to their house to calm myself down. After some bad news. I just didn't want to be alone. She joked about giving her husband to me. And telling him he could go live with me. trying to get myself together, she told him to take me to the hottube for a while. We did. The sexual tension was so intense. We went back inside. I told him I didn't trust myself being alone with him. He says, 2 people have to agree in order for anything to happen. When we got inside his wife, 2 kids and my daughter were fast asleep. We put a movie on and hung out. His wife works the noc shift and had to work. I went to leave when she did but told me to stay the night. After she left, He kept kissing me. Telling me he wanted me.We started having sex. I told him to stop. All I could do was cry. I felt bad. And the ony things he said were, don't fall in love with me and never tell me you love me.Help.I don't want to lose her.
