But my husband says no, is that fair?

2006-11-21 12:27:39 · 9 answers · asked by YESSSSSS! 1

I have raised my son since he was two on my own. He is now 12 and is doing well. Over the years I came to realize that there isnt much support for men. Everyone is focused on a mom raising children. I know that a man raising a child isnt common but it was difficult without support other than family. There are so many support groups for moms. I hope things are changing.

My daughter sees a specialist and I called the doctor to see how she did at her visit that same day she went with her mom. They called back and said me ex is not following their recommendations and is causing health problems for her. My daughter said the only time she does her prescribed exercises is with me and also eats the right food with me as well. She told the doctor this and the doctor wants to write a letter to the court recommended she spend more time with me. I would rather work it out peacefully with my ex but she refuses to communicate so I believe I have no other alternative. Any other suggestions?

So do I. Me and my wife separated 2 months ago and it don't look good. I want to work it out but she don't. If you are in a similar situation and need a friend to talk to e-mail or IM me. A womans point of view would be nice. Don't reply if you don't have anything nice to say. If you don't like my question go somewhere else. No I don't need anyone to feel sorry for me. I just want someone to talk to that knows how I feel.

What makes it so easy for a woman to just say she quits on a relationship when the man is still wanting to do WHATEVER to help fix it? This is only with hard times no cheating taken place.

About a month and a half ago me and my gf of 2 years broke up. About two weeks after, I met this other woman, I thought she was very good company and after a month of talking we slept together not once but twice. She's going through some things so I help her out financially, and so forth. I love her company, but recently me and my ex has decided to give "us" another chance. I would love for us to rekindle our relationship, I told the girl that I have been talking to that we can't sleep together anymore, but I would love to still be her friend. She took it terrible, telling me I can't go back with my ex, and that she's in love. She is also living with her "ex"-fiance`, I don't understand how she could fall in love with me so quickly. I care about her, but I don't love her, I love the woman I have been with for the last 2 years. What do I do about this other woman? How do I tell her I don't feel the same way she feel about me? How do I tell her we can only be friends, w/o hurting her?

I don't think it's fair that he doesn't want to take responsibility for his child. I can't make him be a father, but I think he should have to pay me child support. I am in the process of going through child supt services now. I just want to know if he asked to be relinquished, will it be just that easy?

An example: This one guy I know was struggling on how to date women. He was also struggling on how to find a good job fast after he graduated from college. As a friend, I listened to his problems, & even sympathized with him, letting him know I went through the same fustrations in the dating game & with finding a job after college as he was. I then gave him the best advice I could in the most diplomatic way I could.

I have a great job & found a great wife which showed him that I went from the situation of where he was, to now, & happy. What does he do? He ingores everything I tell him, ignores all of my advice. Even my wife thought he was being rude. He then months later tells me how his other friends helped him to do well in the dating game & in the job search game & explains how supportive they were as if I was never there for him.

I basically wasted my time even caring about his situation. Has anything like this happened to you?

This is why my only real friend is my wife.

Do any of you young slender woman snore so bad your throat gets dry and you gargle your own spit? Or do any of you have sleep apnea and stop breathing for long periods at a time and wake up with a snort or choking?

I am 25 years old and I have only had one sexual partner, which is the same guy I lost my virginity with and I am still with today. We have been together for almost 6 years,I still love him, but my body tells me something else. I have a strong curiosity to know what it is like to be with other men. I love my boyfriend, but I don't want to loose him because of this curiosity...that is why I have thought about one night stands.... People tell me to explore before I make desicions such as marriage, and I feel he is the one, but am I missing something if I just marry and decide to be a one man's woman?

ok i know this is sth i have to come up with myself..but i just wanted t know what you all think. My husband of 9 months is buying me a 1 carat diamond past present future ring that i really liked for xmas. when i ask him what he wants for xmas he says it doesnt matter..i guess i should get him sth of the value of the ring? ( tho it is very expensive and i dont think i can afford a gift that pricey ) so i am not sure what to get..we are young (25) and he ikes to paly xbox once in a while and i kno he always wantedxbox 360...tho i think it is still abit too much for my price range...should i go ahead and buy it? or is it ok if i get him something small and cheaper that i can easily afford? i love him so much and i wish i could get him the world.

My wife told me she was a virgin and that she only wanted to marry a guy that had never had sex before. Well I had been with 4 women before her but since women can't tell if guys are virgins or not, I just lied and said I was. I know when we married she was definitely a virgin and I'm glad she has only had sex with me because I wouldn't have wanted other guys doing that with her. We have been married for about a year now. Should I tell her I wasn't a virgin or just not say anything about it? To me I don't think it matters wether a guy is a virgin or not.

done differently in your marriage?

My husband has been looking to get into the movie business for a long time. He writes screenplays, has volunteered to be an extra in many movies, etc. Recently he signed up for a major part in an indy film, it is an erotic drama. We have a fairly open sex life, go to swinger parties, but always together. He will have to have unsimulated sex in this movie, and there will be rehearsals. It is not a porn movie, and we have watched similar movies together to give me an idea what he will be doing. We have discussed it to death, and I am trying to be ok because I know this could do wonders for his career, but it is still hard to take. He thought I would be ok with this because we swing, but this is different. He will be out and I will be home with the kids. Advice?
