Marriage & Divorce - 21 November 2006

Trying to give the most details with the least amount of words here... Husband and I have 3 young boys. Separated in June. I started seeing Boyfriend. Boyfriend is 23, I'm 30. Going through HORRIBLE financial struggles. I broke up with BF and asked HB to come home on 10/11. He did. I miss BF like crazy. Still talk on the phone, see each other occasionally etc.
There were a lot of reasons HB and I separated. He was depressed for a year...didn't move from the couch. Let me pretty much support us for that year. Started getting cranky all the time. He is definitely willing to put us back together, but I almost feel like it's too late. He loves me the "no matter what kind of love."

Boyfriend: HOT. He's HOT. He's sweet, he loves me, he's willing to help me get out of the financial situation I'm in. But, he's not the boys dad, nor will he ever be. Last night I told BF that I'm giving my marriage 6 months. If it's not back on track in that time, we're done.

I am married for 3 yrs. Within 1 yr of marriage we were blessed with baby.. my daughter is 2 yrs old.My husband wanted to leave job I wanted him to search for job and leave but he didn't listen to me and left job.As result he couldn't find job for 5months and we spent all our savings.Now he got job very far away town.He is there and i am staying alone with my daughter.He comes once a month and stays for week. My daughter makes house dirty when i start sweeping he quareels with me saying maid will come and clean. every time maid wont be available . maid servant will come for 1 hr daily and go.i cant keep house dirty. he roams in house with out banian(vests). He stands oustide and says he will give divorce. One day he went to our neighbours house with out their permission took their ball and started playing with my daughter. our neighbour complained me that she doesn't like any one entering without permission when i told my husband.He started pressing my throat. afterwards he said sorry

I am 57 and we have been married for 14 years. During all of our marriage he continually seeked some kind of porno either tapes or DVDs, internet, cable TV. This is always done the minute I leave the house. He always hides it and thinks I can't tell. I catch him a lot and feel like my job is the porno police. He tells me he has been like this his whole life. Unfortunately he didn't tell me this bit of information before I married him or I would not have married him. He has made many promises and we have tried just about everything to stop his behavior such as counseling, no internet, cable disconnect, but nothing works. I'm ready to throw in the towel but the only life that I will be ruining economically is mine. He asked me to quit my job 5 years ago to retire with him. i am not married (divorced), my children are older now and do not wish to go with my ex or near his family for this thanksgiving. do they have a say in their wishes at 17, 15, 12 & 10? are they old enough to make up their minds? they say they dont want to hear them badmouth me yet again, and are tired of hearing it. any opinions?

i have been waiting for years for these people to grow up, and tell the kids to ignore the nasty remarks. they say they are just tired of it.

court orders have not stopped it either, i have plenty of them.

ive always been a bad girl- partying, hooking up, etc... and i always ended up with bad boys... until suddendly, my platonic love of all times (handsome, respectful, honest, hard worker, loyal) started calling me, and i got over my bad girl phase and realized i can still have a chance at being a nice woman... he fell head over feet for me and now were engaged...

have been married for 2 yrs. within this past year me and my husband have had sex about 12 times. this has also been a bad year for my family. I have lost 3 family members with in a 3 month time. one being my little brother who was 11. I find my mind tends to wonder as to why him every night when i go to bed. I work till midnight and when i leave for work he is still at work. when i get home he is sleep. but this has been going on before i got this shift. we are in our 20s. I am a fairly attractive black 23 year old bisexual male. I am searching for my soul mate, currently. I met a guy who was from Texas and we met over a phone chat line. Then we met in person face to face. We talked for just about 30 minutes. We liked each other and we both (or what he told me) thought I was cool. He told me he was married, though, and that he could not give me a telephone number to contact him. He just said he will call me the next day. So I am thinking I will see him and talk to him again.

Before he left my home, he kiss me and huged me. I was so happy and excited that I met a attractive guy who was nice and good looking. Then the next day I waited for his call and he didnt even call me like he said he would. So I actually got upset and confused. Then once he drove by my home twice and then shook his head and drove off :o(

Then I actually heard him back on the chat line, so I'm thinking he's not interested or....

I am very sad.

I have been dating someone for a year, he was a smoker when I met him - a pack a day, in the car (with children), bedroom etc. He has stopped smoking inside. Recently he gave up for a few months, ( had two cigars a day) now smoking half a pack a day again and has gained kilos. The smoking is an issue beause of health but also because he has no money once paid his debts and child support. I am a non smoker ( with one child) but find that the smell makes me feel sick and is a real turn off. I love him and am prepared to have a future despite his weight/lack of money - we get on great in every other way but don't think I can live with the smell of smoke every day for my life!! He has no intention to give up and also I don't want to be controlling - its his body etc, yet I find I want to see him less because of it. Please help, maybe tips from people that are in the same situation...

I"ve been dating my now husband for 5 yrs. and in the last few years he began to critisize almost everything I did or said, yet in little ways. It was so subtle that I'd thought it was just me. After we got married 5 monthes ago I'm realizing that this problem is pervasive and undermining my self asteem. If it is'nt what I "dont do", it's what I shoul've done, or I'm over reacting. Those are his answers when I ask why he is on me all the time, picking @ everything I say and do, untill I feel I'm merely an irritant to him. Yet I took my vows very seriously, and don't know what to do, I'm incredibly sad almost all the time, and I feel like a failure. After all the years we were together, do I just forget him? Is this normal? My husband now just informed me that when we used to argue about marriage...He'd go to his ex-wife of 10 years...Is this ok? We have been seperated since July because of his alcoholism and violence. I have had a R.O. against him since early October (because he was obsessive, stalking, threatening, and tried to kill himself because he was so distraught over the fact that I wouldn't take him back). He is forbidden by the courts from contacting me for any reason other than issues pertaining to our children - however, tonight, he called to tell me that he is dating "Frankie" and that he thinks he is in love with her. He was rude to me - like he was trying to make me mad. I even spoke to her briefly (she got on the phone to apologize for him calling me!!). He sounded drunk, and I'm not really sure why he called. My questions are: 1) Does he really think I would care what he is doing? I'm the one who has decided to divorce him. 2) What might he expect to gain from this conversation? 3) Should I call my attorney tomorrow and report that he called me & violated the R.O.? 4) Can men really be this dumb?

My husband is really depressed, he has been working really hard and supporting me through college, we have two beautiful daughters and have been married for over 5 years. He is having a hard time paying the bills and keeping up with the maintanence of our home, it seems everything is falling apart, our refrigerator quit working, we've had termites forever, our carpet is old and we need new, our girls need clothes, he has a lot of pressure from the homefront. Daycare is so expensive, it cost over 120.00 a week for just two days of daycare, 5 hours a day. We could pay our house payment or have a brand new car with that money. I support him, but don't know how to show him or what to do. I fee like I need to show him, I don't like seeing him depressed. Help in this time of need, oh and by the way his work truck is about to give up on him, it's had it's last life. HELP
