The better question is what is wrong with the marriage that makes the man stray? Both men and women have affairs, usually because something is lacking in the marriage. If you cant figure out what the problem in your marriage is then seek counseling. Women are no more sluts then men are, the marriage is broke it takes two to have an affair both are guilty not just one or the other.

I don't know how many times i have been hit on while traveling on business by women even though the women knew I was married. I think its the fact that women know a married man won't have commitment issues. It usually is a one night thing and then its over. These beautiful women usually have need for some companionship for a day or two and then they want their freedom back. They don't want a new boyfriend or a roommate. They want someone interesting to be with for 24-48 hours and that's it. As for why the men do it, I don't know, I guess men are weak and horny. They are intrigued by the fem fa-tale and with no strings attached they simply can't resist. I've found myself in this situation and I'll tell you that its hard to say no to a beautiful woman with a commitment free brief physical relationship. It would help if we weren't targeted for being young attractive successful married men.

You know, that's a very good question, but it's also a question that could be asked of Guys as to why they have affairs with married women. And what happens in hollywood digusts me so much anyways.

People have no respect for the commitments they make in marriage. Because they feel that things are not going their way, and they want to do something they want, and don't think about the consequences, or repercussions, and the pain that it could cause. Alot of it has to do with our society with it's me first mentality, that it's all about me, me, me. Well if more people in their marriages would put their partner, and their partners feelings, needs and desires before their own, we wouldn't have the problems in marriage that we do today. We have become a very selfish culture where we would rather do things for ourselves instead of others. And with people cheating, both men and women, sometimes they feel that they are not being sexually satisfied, and instead of trying to resolve these issues with their spouse, they feel it's easier to just sleep with someone else and satisfy their desires instead of working at the problems.

Myself as a married man, I do not see the difference between a woman having an affair than a married man.
I have been there and done that so I know from experience.
If you have never been there and done that, then you will not understand my answer.
This is normal for hollywood area. It has been going on for hundreds of years, and it will continue to go on in hollywood for another hundred or so years.
I answer this one just like I answer the other ones when they talk about husbands cheating.

Back when I was dating without any intentions of a relationship I probably would have did things with a married man. I don't think I did though but why not? It garentees that there is no commitment. That can be hot.

some only looking out for themselves I guess and screw anyone other woman thats in her path. same as when your dating a guy and another woman trys to hit on him or your married and the woman doesn't care as you say above and zooms in anyways. there looking at it from there angle what can i get out of this. they dont' care about the wife or how the other person feels. those women will be on the guy for a while till the guy dummps them or the woman leaves for a better meal ticket there all over the world that way my dear. lets hope our men are smart enough to pick out the bad apples.

But here's another thought too. many men could tell these women there single and the women trust them that they are or the men could say im with my wife but we dont' love each otgher only here for the kids or my wife has a bad sickness and i can't leave her but we have a mutal agreement i can do this.. so theres always two side to everything. not all situations are of bad women.

First of all you should not call another women a slut, and it is not only in Hollywood. It is anywhere in every city in every state all over the world. I think it really stems from emotional loneliness and lack of self worth and self esteem. They feel the man is going to leave, or they do not feel they deserve a man of their own. And one should not just look at the women and blame them. If the women are single, they may get into a relationship with a man not knowing until after they have fallen in love that the man is married. And if the man is married, why not blame him for not being stronger or for stepping outside of the relationship? No, I do not at all condone this type of behavior nor would i ever knowingly date a married man. I deserve and demand respect for myself. God bless*****

I have noticed women fool around with married guys for a bunch of reasons, one would probably be because they are safe. meaning that guys for the most part don't leave their wives for the girlfriend and enjoy the side they get of the man that the wife doesn't get. Good example, like having a dog that doesn't crap. When the fun is over they send them back to the wife and when he is ready for more fun they get him back. Women never forget so if a woman takes a man it is usually because they got that guy under some serious control so the same thing doesn't happen to them but thats where they F### up because you reap what you sow, so don't let it get to you last thing you can control is other people

there are many women out there, who have enough self respect and respect the institution of marriage that they would never get involved with a married man..and on the other side of the coin, why is it the woman's fault? maybe that married man is just as much to blame..ever think about that? you can't be lured away unless you're willing to take the bait

and you can't judge the world by hollywood standards..all we ever hear about is the ones that break up but no one ever tells you about the marriages out there that DO last such as Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward or Tom Hanks and RIta Wilson just to name a couple..
