Yes I did.
It can be hard some days to see him walk out the door to go to work. I make sure the last thing he does before he walks out the door is kiss me. Just in case. I also make sure he is wearing his St Michael's medallion
I live with the knowledge that some day his supervisor, one of partners, and the chaplain could show up at our front door to tell me he is in the hospital or never coming home again. Some days it bothers me more than others but I always keep my mouth shut. Because what he does is so important and I am so proud of him.

Men in uniform... Mmmmm.
Being a police officer is a job like any other job, although I understand from people I know that it becomes a lifestyle.
As long as the man's dream was to be a law enforcement officer, I'd support him.

It depends. Where I live police officers think they own the city. But then again where doesn't this happen. Well anyway, the ones around here tend to have a history of wife beating or girlfriend beating or they already had an ex-wife and lots of kids. I personally would not marry a cop unless he was straight out of high school when he went into the academy. That's my opinion anyway.

see I would have no problem dating a guy who was a police officer, but I think he would have a problem staying alive around my family. But if he did make it to the wedding I would definitely go throw with it. if I loved him then why not??

of course. my fiance was going to be a police officer, but he has always wanted to join the marines and thats just what he's doing, i love him enough to not stand in the way of his dreams, those were there before me. i mean obviously if he wanted to be like hugh hefner before we dated then THAT would be outta the question. but when you find the person you love unconditionally, they are going to stand beside you and love you no matter what

A man in uniform!!! Yes....but it goes further than that...Does he treat me right, does he make me the happiest woman in the world, does he take care of me, does he have time for me, all of that type of stuff totally comes into play.

Why not? It's only a job. If it is love than it should not matter what they do for a living, as long as they work.
