I almost wish they required age-verification through a credit card or something. The kids post answers that I almost need a translator to figure out what they are really saying.

Yes, I too have been struck by the level of immaturity in the questions and answers. I do try, as someone else mentioned, to be patient and kind when I answer, but I notice snideness and cruelty posted by others quite often. There is also an element of "the blind leading the blind," and mis-information is passed along as fact....
I think that Yahoo would find it impossible to try to have separate categories by age. This is the internet, after all.

Yeah it is being taken over by children. Sometimes it is hard getting good answers. You need someone with experience you know.

Yes I think it is. Maybe children can ask questions of strangers who cant know where they live or their parents that they cant ask their parents or even friends. Like a while back I was curious on how a girl masturbates or a boy. Can you ask your mom a question like that? By the way thanks to yahoo I now know the answer.

Recently I had the idea to dress my boyfriend in lavender shorts as the ring bearer at his mom's wedding. Myself as flower girl in a matching dress. Ok I found out that was a REALLY BAD IDEA. Thanks to yahoo I was saved from even suggesting that and in fact we are going to participate in the ceremony but NOT in lavender shorts and dress combo.

Once I asked a question about Muhammed's wives and a very smart man gave me information that you can only find in a college text book. I mean he took his valuable time to answer a child's question in detail. I really thought he was very special to do that.

This is a great place for adults to help a child where they have embarresing questions they cant ask their parents or even their friends.

I LOVE YAHOO ANSWERS.

Yeah, you do have to be careful if you give advise because for every grown person with a relationship problem there seem to be three 13 year-old girls that want to know if they should have sex to keep their 14 year-old boyfriend happy. No offense but there really should be two links... one for kids and one for adults.
