My sister-in-law has a son who sever ties with her because he felt she didn't give him enough money which he feels is his inheritance!!!
If you are in this situation, let him go.

No. Mine are in their 20's and I don't have any money. I know they are around because they want to be with me - I can't afford to buy them anything or loan them money!

OH my gosh. ok i know i am not in my thirtys but my cousin is like that. and she treats her mom like crap. but only "loves" her when she gets her stuff. seriously. if your kid does that. just punish them. i bet you weren't that spoiled when you were a child. they need to earn what they get and respect who they have in their life.

I have a 36 year old.
And he is not there for the money.
He is there because we are family.
