Because you allow it... Put your foot down.

If needed, file a restraining order.

Hi,
The other party usually digs into your affairs when they know that they lost you for good and it hurts them to realize that you will never belong to them again.
I have been divorced for 8 years now and my ex- doesnt pay child support and he hasnt seen the kids in like 7 years.
Now my ex- just recently realized that my (I call them my kids because I have raised them alone for the last 8 years) kids are getting older and all the hard work (diapers, midnight feedings, teething...all that other stuff) is done and now he wants to be a part of my kids' lives!
My kids have seen my ex- only two times this year and now he seems to want A Father the Year Award...I Don't Think So!!!!!
Anyway, now my ex- wants to stick his nose in my business and wants to know my every move...I think its because he knows that he lost me for good and no matter what happens....I will never go back to him!
Anyway, now I think you know why the other party wants to dig into your affairs even though you are not together anymore.
I hope that I helped you in some way or another. Good luck to you.

The court sides with the one who has been wronged and tries to make them whole again. For example, if he got you accustomed to a certain way of life, then went out and cheated on you, causing you to file for divorce - once you prove that he cheated, the court will award you support payments to maintain your way of life. It's all about the Benjamins baby!

Probably looking for something to take you back into court for personal gain and still not thru causing you undue stress and pain

its love hate thing and greed on part of attorney thats all. if this person as an attorney, the attorney is basically milking your ex for everything. if not, your ex wants you still in their life even if it means busting your chops.
