She is driving me nuts. For now she is living here along with my aunt and her baby brother. Wow she is a complete brat. I help her with her homework and she starts getting mad because i make her read the directions instead of giving her the answers. She comes in my room without knocking and Ive discovered her Brat toys in my room (she comes in when I'm not home and plays with my stuff). She is constantly lying about everything and she wont shut up about her dad which she knows no one on her mom's side likes( the guy cheated on my aunt and they got a divorce but she doesn't know he cheated on her mom)She insults me and talks back all the time. It's like she wants to grow up and be a teenager already, she wants to wear make up, she wants to wear heals, she is dying to wear short clothes. Also, she talks A LOT!!!. She is driving me crazy, every time i see her she bugs me. What do I do to to try and avoid this feeling. Ive tried avoiding her but she follows me.

im 14 and im pretty sure im gonna move in w/ my bf. he is 17 and the financial issue isnt a problem. my mom and dad r divorced and i currently live w/ my dad and step sister. my dad is away alot and its usually me and my friends at home. the father could be my bf or my other friend andy who is 15. should i give my baby my last name or his/her father's last name????? also should i move in w/ my boyfriend????

He says he's doing his homework, when he's really on AIM and listening to music that drives the rest of us crazy! I have a laptop, so usually it would be no problem, except for the fact I play Zoo Tycoon 2 on there and I get my homework done in a timely manner! Okay so about 3 weeks before my birthday...which is like right now...my mom takes me shopping to the mall and buys me a bunch of stuff. i dont really ask, and she does it when my dad is gone, like at work, not gone gone. but today she spent like 600$ and i was like what the hell. but my friends have like more juicy and tiffany than me so im kinda confused.

Our family has always pulled names on Thanksgiving for Christmas because it's a big family but the grandchildren have always stayed out of it and everyone gets us a gift. I've always gotten gifts from all of my aunts and uncles and I've loved it. But my family is debating on rather or not me and my cousin who are both 21 now should be apart of the name pull as well! But honestly I don't want to! Because I'm used to getting a lot of gifts that I love and just one little gift is a step back from all of the gifts I'm used to Is that so wrong?

ok this is kinda weird i know but the thing is my sister in law gets pissed over the littlest stuff and i watch there 17 month old but i watch her like 12 to 14 hrs a day and they don't pay me either. i am a touchy person and don't have the heart to tell them cause i don't like people mad at me but it's not thats shes a bad kid it's just that i have to have surgery on my knee and am going to college in the fall but i love my niece i feel like she's my kid i mean i raised her basically ,and i can't talk to my brother cause he won't understand because she has him whooped so bad that she has already started to turn him against my mom. any suggestions PLEASE!!

I think a hero from the story is Gerald. I think Gerald is a hero because when angel was little Jordan was really mad and he wanted to beat angel and Gerald told angel to go to her room and he beat Gerald instead. I think that is a heroic because he risked himself for the one he loves his sister, he is a very brave person. Anther reason I think he is a hero because when the apartment was burning down he ran up the stairs not even thinking and he went up there and saved angel. I think that was heroic because he had his own experience with a fire and he was having memories about his incident and he was about to just stay there and burn but he didn’t because of angel. That’s is why I think Gerald could be considered a hero from this book.

I'm in my late 20s, have a professional career and I'm desperate to go overseas and work, but my dad treats me like a teenager and thinks its unsafe. He's always saying he has "seen too much".

He says I can do what I want when I'm married, but I have no plans to do that in the next few years.

I feel sheltered and stuck. I want my independence and am so ready to crack. Everytime I mention moving out or overseas, he asks if I'm hating my life and family.

What to do?

Well, here's the story. I am 18 and a senior in high school (im graduating in Janurary and going to a college close to home but moving out. Well, im openly gay (to my friends atleast, not family) and I have an amazing boy friend and amazing friends who I love to spend time with and I spend a lot of time with them acctually. I seem like I would not have any problems but I always get lonely when I go home and have nothing to do. My parents are home most of the time but they are not Really there if you know what I mean. I don't feel like I can talk to my mother because then she will be like well come to church with us (they are super religious, and are wondering why my interest has been declining the last few years lol) so I feel I cannot share problems with her because she will say i need the "Lord In My Life" and I don't see any reason to tell her i'm gay right now.

I went out to dinner the other night with my brother, his wife and my mom. My brother had gotten a margarita. I asked him if I could have a sip. I asked my mother, she said it was fine, sure, go ahead. So I took a sip. Then she got mad because she had expected me to "use my judgement". Now she's mad at me and thinks I'm irresponsible even though I'm 16, I've never gone to parties, I've never smoked pot, I've never done the things parents worry about their kids doing. So what's up with her reaction if she told me it was fine? I think thats really confusing and I don't think she should have told me I could have a sip if she didn't want me to. What do you think?

My aunt and my mom had a small argument about what me and my cousins do. Like she hinted to my mom tht she knows that i've been having sex, doing drugs, driving without my full license, and saying something like u dnt know wht he does at school. All tht stuff is mostly lies. I dnt drink, do drugs, or drive alone. Know in my religion ur not suppose to drink. My cousins are like the worst. They drink, do weed, moke ciggerattes nd do all tht crap. She basically thinks im the bad influence on her kids. Know i think she found out by once i told hger kids tht i was seeing this girl tht i was totally in love with. I told them to keep it a secret. I think they told which is a ***** move. I kept all of there secrets for so long.

I found my little half sister on Facebook that I had only met once and I haven't seen her or my father for about 11 years or so. I contacted her with a fake Facebook account because I did not want to invite her to my friends list if it was the wrong person. When I found out it was really her I canceled the fake account and reinvited her to my real one. Ever since I did that she refuses to talk to me and won't even tell me why she doesn't want to talk. This is very strange because she had told me that she had some things she wanted to tell me and even asked me if she was coming on too strong. I told her of course not, I have always loved you, etc.
My dad and my grandparents had mentioned something about her possibly being jealous and my dad said something about her always having what she wanted and being the apple of his eye. I don't feel she has any reason to be jealous. Can someone please shed some light on this situation?! Thanks.

We move out of state live our friends and be close to my husband mother, becouse my family live in Europe. We have baby my son 11 month .I was thinking my mother in law be close to my son grove up with same family members. And we move. Here dont have no friends , she no visiting to see her grandson for 5 month , from my house to hers 15minuts, all the time we go visit her but she never come to see grandson. And i get angry stop visiting . NO fiting no nothing. She have son he 23years He get some girl pregnant bolth dont live togeher dont communicat with her. But my mother in law everyday visiting that girl and her grandson .And i in family for 4 years married her older son ,work have help her.

mine does, and sometimes they are really scary. They get all drunk and everything and tell me to stay in my room and don't come down. They are really loud and smoke fills the air so I can't sleep. And then later I can hear them in her bedroom. I'm so embarrassed about all the different men all the time. I don't know what to do. im 15. i took a cab & i didnt have money for it last night. i got out of the cab & i asked my mom if she had money. she said no. i told the cab driver & she was pissed. my mom came out & yelled at me & told me to go to my room. then my mom talked the cab driver out of calling the police & arresting me. i had no idea ditching a cab was this bad. now im ground until next saturday. now tomorrow is another day wasted of my life. i was supposed to go see my gramma. now i cant cuz im grounded. help

My youngest daughter is a freshman in collgege. She has a learning disability and she did not do very well in high school (SAT WISE).

She got accepted granted she took a summer start program. She did it and passed! I feel this school is helping my daughter succeed toward her future. Because of her disability they are allowing her to create her classes earlier then all of the rest of the students As well as she is getting counciling and getting a student tutor for her one class! Many schools would not offer this kind-of assistance!!

I will admit my daughter had a VERY rought start to college. Moved in with a good friend...friend moved out due to illness, daughter got stuck with a Jehova Wittness with which my daughter had to move out (the girl was crazy) then my daughter was placed in the sports dorm! She hated it there so housing moved her to her own dorm in another building until next semester when she will be moving to ANOTHER DORM to live with her friend!

get this, i withdrew from school with every intent to go back. But my parents forced me to go back claiming that they will not support and I told them i was fine with that. I told them that i had made my decision and that im sticking through with it. But then my mom started going about how she felt that it wouldnt work out for me to get back into school, how the hell does she know. They used every tactic possible to get me to go back. They even started trying to manipulate me through emotions. Finally i just snapped and surrendured, now im back at school but i still have the oppurtunity to stay withdrawn even though im here should i do it, not just for my sake but to prove a point to my parents that they cant control me

there's this guy he is married plus i baptized his son. but sometimes he is nice to me says hi, kiss on the cheek blah blah. but on other days he says hi to my mother and ignores me. sometimes when i look at him he bites the inside of his mouth, + he gives me such a starnge look, sorta like evil.
