im 15. i took a cab & i didnt have money for it last night. i got out of the cab & i asked my mom if she had money. she said no. i told the cab driver & she was pissed. my mom came out & yelled at me & told me to go to my room. then my mom talked the cab driver out of calling the police & arresting me. i had no idea ditching a cab was this bad. now im ground until next saturday. now tomorrow is another day wasted of my life. i was supposed to go see my gramma. now i cant cuz im grounded. help

It was better to take the cab than to be stranded somewhere, however you have been silly by not thinking out how you can pay. The cab driver has to make a living, shes got to pay her rent and eat and pay for the petrol to drive the cab and take you home.
You are paying the consequences of being silly and Saturday is not so far away. Staying home being grounded until then is not wasting a day of your life, its investing it in your long term safety and well being.

It's called stealing. Did you actually think you were going to get the cab ride for free? When you got to your destination and said to the driver..."Oh I don't have any money...." and you expected him to say Oh ok No problem...the ride was on me?
Cab drivers do this for a living...not for fun

Taking a cab ride is using the service they offer. By not paying it you are stealing from the cab company. Theft is definitely serious.
