It is time for you to sit them down and tell them you will not stand for this treatment any longer. Period. End of story. If they disregard what you have said, tell them to leave. (I assume they do not live with you. If they do, make them leave.)

If they continue, have as little to do with them as possible. You do not have to take that type of treatment from anyone, especially the very kids you brought into the world.

Have they always treated you badly? I hope you are not one of those mothers who let their kids walk all over them, put up with brattiness, and spoiled them rotten.

Do not depend on these kids for your fulfillment as a human being. Sometimes, no matter how well you raised them they make choices of their own, and do not choose to be nice to their mother.

Make friends, join a group of some sort, and let those kids go their way, and you go yours. You'll be a lot happier.

Do the adult children live at home? Do you still provide a roof over the head of the adult children? If you do the answer is really, really simple.. Show them the door. If they can't be respectful of you or follow your rule providing they are "normal" then by all means show them the door ! Good luck...

If they are still under your roof, apply tough love and kick them out; if they live elsewhere and still run home to enslave you, change the locks of the house, tell them you'll call the police if they threaten to destroy property, and pray that they wake up and realize what rotten kids they've become.

Cut them off as soon as! I'm sure they'll learn to treat you with some respect when they realise how much they need you.

I would cut off contact with them. Since they are adults, your job is done.

If you can't be unavailable for them in some way, maybe moving away from them would help.
