Well it depends on what the charges is and how serious the crime was. If he killed or attempted a bank robbery than that is something that he will be charged as a adult but if he beat some kids *** or stole a ipod than he'll be fined or sent to juvie for a couple months.

But I would reccomend that you don't write a letter unless he is actually admitted that he did the crime because if he's not admitting that he did the crime then they put that into evidence as a confession.

You can't write a letter to the judge because you aren't allowed to. You can send a letter to the prosecutor. Normally, a 15 year old who is facing a trial as an adult with a possibility of life in prison deserves to be going - so it won't help very much. Talk to your kid's defense attorney to find out what you can LEGALLY do to help out.

Charge must be very serious and circumstances extenuating to be tried as an adult. Seems it's been deemed he's acted as one. Life in prison sounds like someone died at his hand. 'Only 15.' Why not elaborate?
