Brother is a computer hog!?

Question

He says he's doing his homework, when he's really on AIM and listening to music that drives the rest of us crazy! I have a laptop, so usually it would be no problem, except for the fact I play Zoo Tycoon 2 on there and I get my homework done in a timely manner! He's 17 and almost 6 ft. tall, and my parents won't listen to me! What can I do?!

my sister is that same way she will say she is doing homework but really be on myspace or IM....it is annoying....my mom had to set time limits.....maybe that will work with your family but for my sister (who gets everything she wants) it didnt

Get your mom to wait in line with you at BestBuy or another electronics retailer beginning right after Thanksgiving Dinner...
We're talking camping out overnite... she can get you a laptop for like $300 when the doors open the next morning... their door-buster specials are usually worth the wait. A second computer in the house will help a lot!

Other than that, about all you can do is insist that your parents monitor computer use and make sure everyone takes turns. if he is going to use this resource to just play, let hime go to a friend's house.

First of all get him some headphones so you don't have to listen to his music. And then be really annoying so he'll leave the computer!!

you know that if you just find a way to keep him to stop like how old are you?? if i knew that i could give you information. but what i do with my lil bro when h wants something or is doing something... you tell him if he wants to do something fun that he wants to do and just go and say be right back and take the comp.
