which is fine but my younger brother is going into the academy for correctional officer anyways my older brother says to me and tells someone else oh he wont make it etc it hurts me that they havent talked but now hes saying **** like that iam going through deppression as it is with other things help

Well, i never knwe my father. My mother never talks about him or anything, neither does anyone else in my family. My mother always told me that i just don't have a father, i was young at the time so didn't "know" things if you know what i mean by that. But now that i am old enough i do know what it takes to create a child. She hasn't said anything about it or anything, and i'm afraid to ask her about it. Is there any other way to find out? I don't know his name or anything, nothing at all. Is there anything that is easy? Like i stated, i'm afriad to ask her, and i don't feel like a blood test or whatever they are. I'm afriad to ask anyone in my family but my sister, but she doesn't even know who he is, she just knows that we have the same father and that's it. I'm starting to feel as if i was adopted or something, and i just don't know what to do, help me out here, please?

I am a 32 yr old single father. I currently have 20% time share with my 8 year old daughter per court order. In reality though I have my daughter just about everyday. I currently pay about $549/mo. in child support. Jana, my daughter's mother, is recently unemployed again, works under the table as a stripper for cash, and neglects both her kids(the 2yr old is not mine biologically but I have raised her since birth and she no no one else as dad except me). Everytime I make a police report due to contempt of court order it seems that I get punished by Jana. Jana will not let me have contact with Alicia-our daughter. I don't know where to turn for help or who to contact to begin an investigation. I want custody of both children to help these kids grow up normal and with constant stability. Any information that helps me obtain custody of my little girls will be forever appreciated. Thank you.

She shouldn't even have any babies. Her mom stays in & out of jail for prostituting for drugs, & she & I share the same dad, who just died earlier this year. She is very spoiled & terrorizes people when she doesn't get what she wants. She's 17-yrs. old with behavior problems & ADHD. & I'm 28, & she sleeps with every boyfriend I get, & we have to end the relationship.

She has a 10-month old daughter who she doesn't even take good care of, & yesterday we were in WalMart & she left the baby in the bathroom, playing in the toilet water, & when she was confronted about it by the cops, she blamed it on me & lied & said it was my child. & I almost got arrested & she thought this was funny. But the police was so dumb that they did nothing because we kept "pointing the finger". & this girl is on probation, & her officer & the judge keeps giving her too many chances. She keeps abusing this baby. How can I go about getting legal custody of this baby before she winds up dead?

My father is emotionally, verbally, and just recently, physically abuvie to me. He also is emotionally and verbally abusive to my little sister and my mom. He called the police and 2 officers came and a sergant and they didn't do anything to him.
I called my teacher and I told her some of the stuff that went on but she was still confused about the whole situation because I left out some stuff because I was scared to tell her everything. I REALLY want to talk to her and tell her what is goign on but I'm scared on the outcome.
I also have another teacher that I called but I don't want to tell her about it because she'll have to file a report. I trust her a lot too. Earlier in the year, about December, I told this teacher some of the stuff that goes on and she filed a report. When the Social Worker came, we were scared and we denied it; so needless to say, nothing happened. She knows though, as do all my other teachers, what he's done and what he still does.
What should I do?

My siblings despise me - each for different reasons. We all live in the same town. I'm very close to my parents and see them regularly. My siblings see them on occasion. My folks are about to celebrate a major anniversary and are very sad that the family has been disrupted, as we were close in the past. I want to make my folks happy and they would love to have us all back together. But my siblings have made it clear they don't want to see me. Should I try again and ask if they could put aside their hatred for one evening for dinner to celebrate - or would it be too awkward if they agreed? If I dont reach out will I regret it? Most important, what is the right thing to do for my parents? This is particularly hard on my mom.

Its her sweet 16 today, I give her gift, but my daughter whine, and complain to me that she wants a nice car, she said that everybody in her school have car for their 16th birthday. The reason I don't want her to get a car because she might crash into a car, I can't pay for the car and the insurance, she might turn spoiled if she gets a car, and also she is not appreciatting her gift that I gave her. I feed her, pay for her education, and pay whats needed best for her. If she wants that car so badly she can get a job, but she didn't even get a job. So tell me, am I cheap if I don't give my 16 year old daughter a nice car?

my mom is being a ******. she wants me to do all the house work everyday and its the summer!!!! the only time i get to sleep in and she wakes me up at like 9:30. and she wants me to do SAT work, math, and read. and she says that if i do that for 2 hours ill have the rest of the 22 hours for myself but all that doesnt take 2 hours, more like 6. also, she like hates me but loves my brother. the other day she said she didnt under stand how I came out of her body, and she didnt even want or need a child like me. and she said when she went on vacation she was thinking about staying there because she didnt want to come back to me..also her and my dad always fight. and its always because of the past and how her mother in law was mean to her. i wanna tell her to shut the hell up and deal with it.
shes a fuc*ing bi*ch. what do i do? she doesnt tolerate any backtalking or plain talking.

ok toms exwife is a wonderfull/involved mom to thier only child who is 8 yrs old.She is still single and relies on my hus for advice/support regarding thier son who is her life.I know she is not happy about me being the "new wife" as she sees me in "her place".My question is i don't want to make trouble with her so what can i do or don't do to avoid conflict with her?What does your exhusbands new wife do that pisses you off regarding your kids?

This is a crazy situation but here goes. My boyfriends mother is going through an incredibly NASTY divorce. Last week, someone allegedly called social services on her for something with her two little girls (5 & 2). I don't know many of the details with it, but she thinks it was me. This was Monday that I was accused by her. My BF thinks she's completely irrational about the whole situation but she will not even listen to him if he tries to reason with her. Wednesday, she called the police and got an order from them to keep me off the property and from calling the house. If I do either, I will be arrested. I assure you all, I DID NOTHING WRONG, I did nothing to instigate any of this. I guess my question for y'all is, what do I do? My Bf & I are planning to move out by the end of the summer, I'm just afraid what this rift btwn his mom and I will do to us...

I will be 18 in a month. I know this is a big decison. I am finacially stable and I graduated college. My parents are very controlling and LOVE to know my every move. I apreciate everything they've done for me, BUT I beleive its time for me to move out on my own. I've tired calculating costs and looked at wonderful apartments.
