His 2 teenage sons live with there mother 3 blocks away. Fathers day came and went without even a phone call from the kids. This after he bought both of them cars, gave them credit cards, pays for everything literally... no kidding.
He says he is good friends with their mother. I say he is being used by their mother and she is a manipulative hole looking out for herself and playing games with the kids. I would be ashamed not to see my dad on the holiday after all the money he spends on these kids.
Should I say anything at all or just keep quiet?

She is 19 yrs old, but she lives here with me. I called her today and she told me she was staying at her dads for the fathers day weekend. I think she is a bold faced liar and has shacked up with another loser. She lies and I cannot handle her acting like a whore. The town where she does her dirt has a population of about 2400 people.
She is not on birth control and I am sure she is with some guy who is using her for a piece of ***. She has really big maturity issues. How should I respond to her shinannigans again?

I feel that my family members gossip about my life. I am divorced and my child lives with her Dad in another state.

They discuss the details of my prior family life and also what is happening now with my daughter.

I don't do that to them and resent my brother, mom, dad and cousin for doing this.

The only thing I can do is change the subject to talk about neutral things.

I don't like the fact that my brother and cousin know so much about my personal life, but don't know what to do. They hear it from my ex-husband and daughter.

I will try to change the subject and ignore it as much as possible.

What else can I do?

I have decided not to talk to my cousin about my personal life because she just seems to talk too much about it to others, etc.

My brother is of no help and never has been. He just communicated with my ex thinking he would be able to meet my daughter and it backfired in his face. I have decided to ignore him also for some time.

Since my son was born, I have been inviting my Aunt, Uncle and their family to come to my house for different family functions. He is now 6. I never get an RSVP and they never show up. Later I see them at the mall and they act like nothing is wrong and give me a lame excuse as to why they couldn't come. Last time it was their daughter was sick. She is a Senior in College.

I no longer want to even bother inviting them. I also want to take them off the X-mas card list since I have only gotten a handful from them. What do you think?

Include your country and how you greet/say goodbye to your family/friends.

my example: America. I kiss my family members when I greet them and say goodbye. Friends- hugs

I dropped by to see my aunt and uncle the other day, uninvited.
They asked me to stay for dinner and I did. As we were sitting down to eat, my uncle asked me what I would like to drink and I said water would be fine. He gave me a glass of water, but it was unchilled water with no ice in it. Room temperature water from the tap. I did not say anything. It's not a real big deal, but I personally would never serve anyone unchilled water unless they asked for it that way.

The reason I stopped by uninivited: They never call me or invite me over. My uncle did say to me one time though that I should just drop by anytime and not worry about being invited.
So I took him at his word and just dropped by without being invited.

My gf and I have decided to take my little sisters and brother in to live with us.(3,5,9) As you may have heard my mom does not want them since my dad died so I(18) and my gf(18) are gonna take them in. We talked to them and they are in total agreement. The only thing is they are complete brats and i dont know what to do. My mom is making us legal guardians as well. So how do I make my little siblings listen to me and my gf because grounding them doesnt work cause they will still stay out late or whatever. My mom says I ought to spank them and i think Im starting to believe and am really clode to trying it.

My child father never came to the hospital when he was born, nor did he come to our house, call or write. Now my child is 9 yrs old. During the 9 yrs, I've tried 6 x's to get him involved in his child life & all 6 x's he disappearred. Hurting his child badly. During my child 2nd & 3rd grade he acted out as he left again (5th & 6th x's) and he was very ugly toward his teachers and classmate. 3rd grade was the worse and now he is seeing a counselor.
Now, after 2 yrs father calls me and tell me he want to sign his rights over so he can care for his girlfriend 5 kids. But, he cannot afford a lawyer so he want to resume his visitation. Resume??? He never visited his child according to the court papers. I've always had to pick him up (those 6 x's) just to get hij involved. Now, I don't want him to see his child because it will just hurt him even more and how long will it be before he disappear again. I need to know what some of you people think. I want to protect my child heart.

i found out something about my bf, father of my child and i left him. he is 36. we managed to sort things out though and are now back together. he has head injuries which means he lacks in logic so his mum and dad have taken him to florida for 3 weeks to sort his head out so we can sort our relationship when he gets back. me and our daughter have been left here back in england. my boyfriend has now been gone nearly 2 weeks and has rang me twice. does this seem fair to you or do you think he is being rewarded for his mistakes??

I called him up and was like hey dad, happy father's day blah blah blah and then he was like let me call you right back, I have a business call. So a couple of hours later, when he never called back, I called him back and he was like, "what do you want i'm kinda busy"
i was like whatever dude...learn etiquette about kids callin you on father's day. and then he sounded all pissed off and told me to grow up and that was pretty much our entire conversation.

So I was thinking of driving out to where he lives and surprising him next weekend, cause I actually think he was angry that I only call him on special occasions and no other times, BUT if I do visit him next weekend it will look like i'm purposefully trying to get on his good side and will look totally fake.
Any ideas??

I share a bathroom with my sister. we both have long hair and it constantly sheds and gets on the floor. she and i both clean up all the hair after showering or brushing our hair. but it is to no avail with mom who goes in there with a magnifying glass *sarcasm* and finds one little hair and starts ranting on about how we NEVER clean up properly. it is by far the most annoying trait she has. how can we deal with it?

I have 3 teens an irritating husband (just basically doesn't have a clue) then a four year old.......I am seriously considering taking the little one and leaving for parts unknown because the other ones are slowly killing me....for the most part they are lazy, annoying, disrespectful and I swear share one brain between the four of them.....the husband is ok but since he is the step father lots of arguing and so on....I feel as if they are corrupting my youngest son....should I leave the 4 of them to their own pathetic selves and go have a nice peaceful life just raising my youngest or should I just deal with it and eventually end up vacationing on a funny farm? I am surprised that women everywhere don't just up and leave, tribulation style. Oh these people are so ungrateful. So should I stay or go? Anyone else contemplating?
