Suggestions on how to make a breakup a little less painful? I love the person I'm breaking up with very much but things just are not working. They had moved about five hours away from thier home to move in with me and have started grad school. So when I break up with them things could potentially be very messy (since they are going to have to move out but can't go bakc to thier home becuase of school, etc.) I would love some suggestions on how to ease the pain a bit. Thanks.

i've been seeing my boyfriend now for about 10 months. he's the type of guy that calls in the morning and at night.... but just recently he hasn't been, which is kinda weird for him, or if he does its like 5 mins and he's gone. i know thats not a big deal but he got very crookid when i couldn't come and see him the other day... and when we went out yesturday i dunno, he was acting the same and all, but i just had this weird feeling, like he's not attacted to me anymore or something....any thoughts??

I could've sworn when we got off the phone earlier that day he said he would call but he says I was the one who was supposed to call him. Neither one of us called the other. Now he's mad at me even though I explained to him that it was just a misunderstanding. I just started dating him a month ago and we talk every day and we've even talked about our possible future together. But if he is this upset about an honest mistake like this I am questioning whether I will be happy with him. I asked him whether he was mad about the mistake I made, or if he was afraid that I just didn't want to talk to him and he said,"BOTH!" And then hung up on me...I'm shocked. Help me understand what could be going on with him. He's never acted like this before

I've been talking to this girl for the past week and a half and everything seems to be okay one day then rocky the next.

She always seems too busy for me but sometimes she'll text me things like "I was thinking about you" and what not.

So on monday night, i asked her out for a date today and i asked her if she'd like to, she replied that she would and she'll tell me what time she's be free this afternoon.

I also text her later that night to say goodnight and she replied with a "dream of me".

I gave her a call yesterday, she picked up but she was doing her xmas shopping and said she'd call me back but she didn't.

I text her a final text today asking her if she's still free and I won't text again till I know whats going on.

Today is date day and I still haven't heard from her. Shall I say "sod it" and give up? Or what shall I do? Im so confused >.<

I run a support group for single mothers and I have a participant's kids practically living with me. While my door is always open to them, ages 7,9,and 14- after having the eldest first introduce me as her mom and then insist it was true to the point of tears to one of her teachers I'm more than a little worried about these kids. I talked it over with mom and she thought it was cute. She's a nice lady, works two different jobs to support them all, but it seems like she's missing my point.
We live in a dangerous neighborhood and I really don't mind them being here (I like them, better then alone in their apartment), but it's become a daily ritual for them- home to shower, then my place 20 minutes by city bus to do homework, visit, and eat.
I work 1 fulltime job (about 48 hrs) and have one young son myself, and though it's a challenge I've been able to take care of them like this for about a month now.
I won't turn them away,I love them like my own, but I'm not their mom.Suggestions?

My ex and I have two children together. We split up because we were both young and immature. We cheated on each other and pretty much killed the trust between one another. Now we are older and find that we have a pretty good relationship despite our past. We are still very close friends and there has been talk of giving it another shot. The problem is I have been faithful to the guy that I have dated and feel that I have proven that I can be trust worthy; he on the other hand cheated on his ex many times. Now he insists on having his friends (females) despite what we have because he says he doesn't trust anyone. I have tried to have a friend on the side so that I don't feel stupid if he ends up hooking up with one of the girls, but I'm just not comfortable with deceiving one guy in hopes of being with another so I cut it off with the friend. I just learned that my ex still has contact with a girl that he cheated on me with is an ex of his. Should I go with the obvious and leave it?

and i know some people are gonna go off on a "wait until youre married" tangent
but whatever...
and also i know you should wait until it feels right,
but what if it felt right with him from the start? that doesnt mean you sleep with him on day one!!
im 17 and he's 19...we've been going out about 4 weeks but i havent had sex with him
he's not pushing the issue...but i know he wants it

Schools out 4 me and this might sound reli wierd but i always get so bored in the holz!
my best friend isin't aloud to go out and neither is my other 1. A really good friend of mine has changed started hangin out wid some reli lame people and shes always out wid dem! (Their lame cuz they gossip bout every1!!) anyway and now i dnt have anytin to do. I cnt keep havin big sleepovas if u kno wat i mean and my mum only lets me get 2 ppl to sleep wat should i do to convince her maybe???

My wife and I have been separated for 3 months and about a couple of weeks ago we started going to marriage counseling. So far the counseling has been useful, but how much longer should we go until we decide to work things with our marriage or to go on with the divorce. We have been together for 8yrs and married for 1 year. No infidelity ,physical abuse, or drug use. Just BAD communication between us.

My wife was the one that wants the divorce because she was "fed up". Even though she thinks that divorce is the best out, she starting to see that going to MC might not be too bad. Again nothing is guaranteed, it seems like she is giving a shot to work on our marriage.

I dont want us to go to counseling for the next 3 -6 months and at the end, we still going to divorce.

I have written here before and got some good advice.
This is all about the girl I’ve been seeing.
It’s been 2 months now.
Well after a hot romance here and seeing her 4 times a week she dropped the bomb.

It was always not the right time for us with her getting out of a relationship, but we met and things happened.

A couples time she has mentioned it was too much and she was moving way too fast.
Now she says we should not see each other till she gets her life straight.

This is after Christmas plans, and gifts and talks with me day and night.
Then its here.
Well now Im heart broken to say the least wondering what to do.
Do I fight for this or let her be?


She has told me she could easily just fallow her heart and stay with me, but she keeps telling herself it was not in the plans.


Im confused.
