Do you think that the parent who makes less money should concede custody to the parent who makes more money because they can provide more things for the children and a higher standard of living? What if you love your kids to death but want them to have the highest standard of living possible, one parent is wealthy (high income) and the other just regular (median/low income), what would you do?

me and my man have been together for over 4 years wit hone child together. i need a break badly.
how long did you and your spouse have a break for?
when coming back together did it work out?how long?didi it go back to the same thing like before arguing and stuff?

We just started dating and he threw a bombshell on me! The second date I asked him repeatedly if he had any diseases, and he denies it. The next morning he said he lied. For some crazy reason, FMIL has it in
her head that she is just like my mom and thinks
she has every right to go wedding dress shopping with
me.She isn't my mom and quite frankly, I am
annoyed at her attitude-she doesn't understand
that she doesn't know me like that, that she isn't my
mom and we aren't close. I just don't feel comfortable

sharing these things with her. I am going wedding
dress shopping with my mom and only my mom.
How can I just get her to back off and give me room?
Why is she so
insistent? I have polled friends, family and etiquette
books-none of their FMILs saw
went dress shopping so why should my FMIL? Also,
I don't intend on having FMIL at fittings or showing
her the dress either. I figure she can see it when I
walk down the aisle.

My husband is usually a very loving man.He's sweet,makes me laugh,shows affecttion,and is a great provider.But lately(and by lately i mean since we've been married,almost 2 years now)he's become increasingly dominant.Every time i confront him about it he gets upset,claiming that i'm always misunderstanding him and that im' mistaking opinions for orders.But if i don't follow his "opinions"he gets upset.It can be something major(like refusing to name our daughter after my grandmother,the woman who raise me,simply b/c he doesn't like the name)or something small(like telling me to go shopping friday instead of thursday,the day i wanted to go,just because he thinks it's a better idead,no other reason.)Please help me.I'm in tears right now and i cant let him see me this way b/c i don't want a confrontation.

my brother lives rent free with my sister. He is a 22 and a single father of 3 year old. he depends on us for everthing cash babysitting. he has 5 sisters and he is the baby we all raised him he has a disability. doesn't hear well. he already has a full time job.well my sister wants him out. does not have the heart to tell him. my other sister paid 3 payments of his car. I finally told him i could not do free babysitting, but i feel so guilty. I feel like he should grow up , but it is all of our faults for allowing him to do this to us. How can i get everyone on board with me? I feels so guilty even writing this , but i want him to have good life.

My sister and I rented an apartment together. Because my sister was a previous tenant, I was unaware of the cost of the rent. I assumed that she told me the correct amount for the monthly rent. After a full year, I found out the truth. That she was taking an extra $120 a month from me. Also, 3 months into the lease her 21 year old son moved in and never paid a penny towards anything. I was doing a 90% of the cleaning in the house hold. If she lied about the rent what else did she lie about. Gas & Electric? Water bill? Cable? Phone?
Currently, I do not see or talk to her. I told her that if she utters my name in my presents, I will hurt her. We recently had a family gathering, we did not speek to each other. As I got in my truck ...ironically my tire was flat. When the tire was repaired, the tech showed me a pair of hair cutting scissors as the reason.
Everone in the family says, " You guys should make up, your sisters"

I've been in inter-racial relationships since I was 15 yrs old. My mother is from the Philippines and my father is caucasian. My half brothers that I was very close to have disowned me and I have not been able to be a part of my family since 2003. Holidays really hurt because I miss them so. My Daddy doesn't like it, but he loves me and has spent time with him and grown to like him. My mother will not meet him! Anyway, guess the question is, will they ever come around? I miss them, I have not seen them for so long!

my husband and i have been together for a total of 6 years and we have a 2 year old daughter. Ever since my daughter was born i have not been in the mood to have sex. Most times i just do it b/c i dont want to lose my huband over it. He is so into making sure that he gets his that he does not even try to please me! i can lay there like a bump on a log and he would not even notice. I have tried to talk to him about it but he does not understand and gets mad.
