with my EX-husband it was drinking instead of drugs. Well that and the women he was "porking" when he was out drinking. I gave him a chance to change his ways but he didn't believe me so now............. he's history.

After working counter narcotics for so many years I can say it's not a pretty picture to see when someone dives into the drug pool!
The most "offensive" drugs today are prescription depressants/anti-anxieties, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
All of these drugs cause a serious addiction of which professional intervention is needed.
Most drug abusers will tell you they don't have a problem and can stop anytime they wish...but they can't!
If your "man" won't stop...I'd suggest some serious medical counselling or leave the guy before he drags you down a road you don't want to travel!

You should talk to him about why he is doing drugs and staying out late. Drug use is indicative of other problems and may require both of you to seek further help from professionals.

I would kick his butt! especially if he is a grown man he should know better. and if you have kids that makes it worse because if there was ever a drug raid done on your house and they found any substance you both would be put in jail until they found out whose it was and your children would be put in protective custody til one of you got out.

I wouldn't be involved with anyone like that. I don't use drugs, and I don't want to associate with people who do either. That's for losers, IMO.

I'm not sure I understand ur question. But if it were my husband I'd ring his neck of course after locking his butt out of the house for the night

I would pack his stuff and leave it on the curb when he decided to come home. Don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you.

I'd let him sleep it off on the couch. Then talk about it the next day and make it clear that it's not acceptable and cannot happen again.
