Just give her a feeling that she has a good friend in you , who is eager to listen to her problems.
Tell her that life doesn't stop because of this bad event. There are lot of people in this country who have lost almost everything at a mature life. But, they have tremendous mental strength to go ahead taking everything in their strides.Life has many pleasures to offer.Breaking off an old relationship at young age is quite a common thing. It could happen from either side.It does happen at this age. But, this is how one gets more mature and remains more careful in future while building up a relationship of this nature. You can explain these to her in our own warm and friendly manner. It will work.

I recommend she watch this particular MindMovie daily to help you be free of the things that hold you back and fill yourself with hope again. It's the cheapest form of therapy I know that seems more effective than a shrink. I turn the volume down and just enjoy the quotes and pics.

If she is way too suicidal, get professional help for her ASAP!
Her life is more important than the exams.
Breakups happen but for some sensitive souls, it's a hard lesson, but it will pass.
Good she has a caring friend like you!

Breakups happen all of the time, and they do cause a lot of pain. One might wish to "die" for awhile, but gets over it in time. However, since your friend is stating to you that she would like to commit suicide, she may have deeper issues that need to be addressed with professional help.
If your friend has family that she is close to, please talk to them about it, to enlist their help in getting her some help. She needs to know that she WILL get over the break-up, and even wonder someday what she ever saw in the guy that she is suffering so much over now.

Hey,
Tell her that,"If you'll be positive, you'll get better than the best of friends ( B.F.).Just a break up doesn't means 'suicide'! That guy left her, then that means that the guy wasn't know what he is loosing with you !Now cheer-up and refresh your mind with lots & lots of good wills that you have to do for your-self ! "
make sure that this session of chatting with her will make her smile once !
BEST OF LUCK & MERRY CHISTMAS...........!
A Friend,
