and i know some people are gonna go off on a "wait until youre married" tangent
but whatever...
and also i know you should wait until it feels right,
but what if it felt right with him from the start? that doesnt mean you sleep with him on day one!!
im 17 and he's 19...we've been going out about 4 weeks but i havent had sex with him
he's not pushing the issue...but i know he wants it
should i wait any longer?

Honestly? well i think that 4 weeks isnt long enough, imean that is only a month really.
With my boyfriend it felt right from the start but we waited till at least 2 months to do it...i think even longer then that.
when poeple say taht it complicates things and that it hurts and all this, i think that is just to deter you.
If you think that you are ready then go for it, just be careful and use protection, you wont be happy if you dont.
hope this helps

you'll know when it feels right and not before. the fact that you're questioning tells me that you have some misgivings and thats fair, it has only been a month (I know at 17 that feels like forever though!!) but it's not an unreasonable amount of time either. As long as he's not pushing you just wait, there is always other stuff to be done ;)
as for the rape thing - ignore that answer!! it's your life, your body and you're not underage!!!!
I also think blackwidow should stop pushing her beliefs on other people. it's a very old fashioned train of thought!

Just do what feels right! In all honesty I think 4 weeks is a long time, but then I am English. Expect Americans to tell you to keep your knickers on until you are married, and expect Europeans to laugh raucously at that crazy idea.
EDIT I told you! Why don't people specify they don't want answers from the USA? They tend to think their absurd laws and attitudes apply worldwide. NO he won't be prosecuted for rape!

Just wait until you know the person well enough and have spent time with them in diff situations. Wait until you know that they are really into you not only for sex. n also they can be responsible in case u get pregnant because with sex comes responsibilities

Well my husband and I both waited until we got married. It was totally worth it. And God commands that we wait until marriage. So if you are going to say that it is wrong when people tell you to wait until marriage, do you realize that you are saying "whatever" to God? Not a good idea. He knows what is best for us... after all He did create us! I think I would follow His guidelines. If you don't, you are only hurting yourself, and Him. How would it feel to know you are hurting God?

if you feel ready and you can accept any consequences, then yes. Ive dated girls where we didnt have sex for a month, and some where it happened in a week. Just a matter of your own readiness and their readiness.

Whenever it feels comfortable for you, don't rush into it, guys like a chase, they don't like girls that are too easy and desperate. He should repsect your wishes if he loves you and patiently wait untill you feel the time is right.

You should probably wait until you're 18 so nobody can pin him for statutory rape, he can wait unless he really just wants to use you for sex. Just a thought...
