1. It was the same date as a friend who has been married 5 years, and they object, saying that is their date,

2. It is the same date as your grandparents and they say they would prefer you change it.

Are there any circumstances you would easily switch it, or any circumstances you would stand firm, no matter what?

I know its the "man's duty" to "pursue" the female, but at any point before you got married (or even serious in the relationship), did you chase your husband/boyfriend?

And why is it so "bad" for a woman to chase a man? Why does the woman have to be considered "desperate" or "crazy" if she chases the man? Why cant it just be that she has feelings for and wants him?

When I go back to my hometown the women there seem to approach me more. When I come back to the place I live, I feel like the women here don't click with me. It's like the women up here look for or are attracted to a different type of man. Plus I think I might be more attracted to the women back home. Or I am just frustrated with the women up here and am slowly turning it into a "well, the women up here are just frigid." thing. I don't know. Have any transplants experienced this?

I'll admit that i've been under some stress lately and a phase of extreme low confidence. i went and talked to my teacher about it, she said i should go the school counsellor, but i haven't been able to talk to her yet because my exams have been going on.
today, i was feeling like crying really bad although i wasn't feeling sad at all. i couldn't understand it, and then suddenly i just cut my hair. it looks a bit weird and short, but it doesn't really bother me.
i don't know how i should tell my mother. she is going to go insane when she realizes, so far i have been wearing a cap. also, she doesn't know i've been talking to my teacher about my problems, because i know that she'd feel bad about me talking to strangers about personal family stuff and the fact that i went to a teacher rather than going to her.
I am not sure what to do. please help me. i need to tell her in a manner that she doesn't shout at me, because i wouldn't be able to take it if she does.

My mother really for some reason has never liked my husband who does everything he can for his family. He supports this family totally, he's the only one that can work right now.. and well, she insulted his family whom I love very much by saying that his little sister 17, whom is pregnant should give her baby up because the baby would be better off with a better family. I exploded on her and now we are fighting. I would love nothing more to get along with my mother. But my husband comes first. But I have so much guilt because she lives alone and all she wants me to do is bring over my children so she can see them. Not to mention its the holidays And my children love her. Im afraid though because I dont want her influencing them to think bad of thier father if im not around, because she has talked bad about him before while we werent their to the rest of the family. well really what I need help with is, how do I get my mother to actually treat my husband with the respect he so deserves?

My fiance and I are planning our wedding, but we're not exactly sure how to go about it. We've been looking at dresses, and we're not exactly sure about who's going to wear the dress. She has her heart set on the perfect wedding, but if we both wear dresses, how exactly would we do it? Should we both walk down the isle? Or should one of us already be waiting at the altar? I'm not sure what the best plan would be, and it's kind of bugging me... Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I am 29 she 25. We were together for 3 months. We were really into eachother and things went way to fast. We had sex within 2 days of knowing eachother and things skyrocketted. She expressed to me sometime that she needed space but was doing it so things didnt get messed up in the future. Then she told me that she felt that things went to fast and kinda freaked her out. She had just got out a a verbally abusive relationship one month before we got together. She states that she was messed up by her ex. She broke up with me telling me she lost the spark, and does not know why. She stated to me that she still wanted to talk to me and hang out and she will probably regret the decision to break up with me. My quest is she still thinking of me? Never had any problems in therelationship she stated she wanted to marry me etc and she told me we had a good relaton..She states today that this is not easy for her either and she would like to stay friends with me and to be cool and let her think?

I'm 12 years old, and my father is cheating on my mother. It's not just some paranoid guess - I know it. Well, my dad hates me and thinks I'm a mistake, and doesn't love/just pushes my mom aside because she doesn't want to have intercourse with him. He embezzled all the money in my bank account and lied about it. If it were for a good cause, I wouldn't be so angry, but all the cash was from academic achievements and have sentimental value, and he's sending all of it to his sluts as Christmas gifts, and gets angry when I ask my money back. I hate my father and don't want to forgive him. I really need to be strong right now, but I don't find it easy. I would include a link to his myspace account where he's trying to seduce 133 different women, but if he finds out he'll belt me. So, any help, please? I can't sleep at night because of him.

My wife and I have been married just over a year. Before we were married, we found out she was pregnant. I took responsibility, we got married and have been pretty good together since, until I found e-mails of her back and forth which married persons should not be exchanging with a guy she knew before we were married. She even let me become really good friends with this guy and his wife. Then I found one in which she asked him if he thought our daughter looked like him. I confronted her and she lied about all of it until I showed her the e-mails. The first time she said she was taken advantage of, but then they had sex once (she said she quickly told him no) after we were married. Don't you think she had to have some kind of idea while she was pregnant that the baby may not have been mine? She has not told me going on 3 years now. If I had not found it, then she may have never told me. Anyway, I had a paternity test done and I am not the father. Is there any reason I should let her back

I met a man a little over a year ago. We hit it off and he moved into my house about 4 months ago. Shortly after I started to find little signs that he was smoking pot. I confronted him and he said he didn't do it very often not to worry about it. I'm total against it and will not allow it in my house or around my daughter. He brushed it off. I insisted that I won't tolerate it. For a wile I didn't see anymore signs but kept my eyes open. Last week I found little pot on the desk in my bedroom. We work different shifts so we don't see each other during the week. I confronted him again and told him I wanted him to leave. I can't except the sneaking around behind my back when I flat out told him I wanted nothing to do with it and he must have had it in my house again. My problem is that he said this is his residence and I have to go to court and get a 30 day eviction notice like he was a tenant. I live in FL. and don't know the laws. Do I have to do all that? Please help

I don't think so, for one simply reason – we are all human. And humans are not perfect. Do you think that we all end up hurting the people we love the most? I believe having a good marriage does not demand perfection, but it does require us to apologize when we fail.

In marriage, when you say sorry what does it mean to you? When was the last time you said sorry to your spouse and meant it?

When you apologize to your spouse, what do you say? For many the answer is: "I'm sorry." But do you tell them what you are sorry for? An apology has more impact when it's specific. "I'm sorry that I got home late. I know that you worked hard to be ready on time, and I show up 15 minutes late. I feel badly that I’ve made you wait. I hope you will forgive me and we can still have a good evening." Do you think this kind of apology communicates that you are aware that your behavior inconvenienced your spouse and that you feel badly about it?

When my Husband and I got married we were planning to finish school, work a while and have children. All of the sudden he wants to get his PHD. I am supportive, but he doesn't want to have kids till he is completley done(understandably). I will be 37-40 when he gets done, I def. do not want to wait that long to have kids. I told him this and he said, if he has to choose, he would choose his career over me? I understand things change and I have more than flexible with the children issue more than once, as well as other issues. I just want to know what you guys think about this?! I really appreciate it!

I'm 20 and he is 24, so we have plenty of time, lol. But the thing that scares me, is the fact that he already is saying he would choose his career over me?!

We were yesterday with a group of mates and her parents and brother and when we left the meal I said, "Lets go home, time to whip your knickers off"

Now she is not speaking to me. Come on, it was funny wasn't it? Is she being a bit over touchy?
