COMPLETELY NOT I HAVE SOME COUSINS I DON'T LIKE AND EVERYTIME I SEE THEM I'LL SAY HI AND SHAKE THEIR HAND CAUSE ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO AND I DO IT WITH EVERYONE AND TRUST ME THEY ARE FAKE BUT I DON'T PAY MUCH ATTENTION I DO WHAT I GOTTA DO SO YOUR OK KEEP BEING POLITE;)

We all have to say hi to people we don't like if we don't we feel rude and we also know we would be hurting that persons feelings and that person would be thinking yeah he/she hates me,So no it's not being fake it's being human,It's better to be nice than cruel

Depends...if its just hi how are you? Then no.
If you stand there and talk about what great pals you hope to be...yes.
I say hello to people I don't like all day long. Its the civilized thing to do.
If your friends are telling you, you're being fake...tell them I am just being polite.

it's being polite. Polite is a good thing to be.
Being fake is when you don't like the person but you pretend to be their friend.
