as in...emerge from your cave, Beast! :) Or is that considered trying to drag him out. I'm just trying to lighten the mood. What do I do?

yes, I ask fascinating questions don't I? Thank you ;)
hmm..I seem to be getting a split decision here? Most people seem to say no.
I'm not talking about harassing him, I just want to make that clear. But show I'm not mad?

'beast referring to a prior joke. No malice behind it. implication of sexiness is what lies behind me using the word Beast. Is that still okay?

take the pi*s out of him!, if he can't handle a joke, thats his problem...
hmm, i was considering cave, as to mean workshop, garage, toolshed, den, etc!.. but emotionally?, well, be gentle, or he'll regress further

I think it's always good to try and joke and lighten the mood when someone is down. I know I have been in moods where I just do not want to joke and others where I welcomed it, and it made me feel better. It doesn't hurt to try, just see how he responds and go from there. He may just want to be left alone, but it's good to let him know you care and you tried before leaving him alone.

No!!! Dont make a joke out of it...he might not get super mad...but he will definitely not laugh! Just leave and act as if doesnt even bother you! Im sure you like to have your moments alone too...they are actually good to reflect. So dont say anything and just leave him be...IF he does that all the time...then you should try talking to him about it! Talking..not screaming!

it really determines the man and when you say that he is in his cave then I'm taking that as he is in a bad mood if you crack a joke and he does not laugh then just stop !!! BUT is he mad at you if he is mad at you then just leave him alone because he will get frustrated with you but if it is not you then just hold him in your arms till he feels better most guys like that !!

don't joke about a guy feeling depressed. instead be loving and understanding and try to cheer him up with nice stuff like favorite foods, buying a small but thoughtful present or something. don't try to make him the laughing-stock because he's probably already feeling bad enough as it is.
the male ego is a fragile thing, don't bruise it! =)

We are better left to our own devices at that time. My wife recognizes that and rarely disturbs me unless it is an emergency.
Generally I don't think most men are feeling to jokey during cave time.
Good question!

'cave' as in state of mind or 'cave' as in his speacial place where he has 'man toys'
most men call their 'man cave' a place where you find pool tables, widescreen tv's, a bar., etc...
not sure i know the context of cave in your question.
But, most men like a woman with a sense of humor, so what not, lighten the mood.

i wouldn't, i would probably bonk you over the head and drag you to the bedroom, that's just playing.if its not taken as a joke/for fun, then he needs to lighten up,undo his collar, roll up his sleeves, not shave once in awhile, well you get the point.
