I know its the "man's duty" to "pursue" the female, but at any point before you got married (or even serious in the relationship), did you chase your husband/boyfriend?

And why is it so "bad" for a woman to chase a man? Why does the woman have to be considered "desperate" or "crazy" if she chases the man? Why cant it just be that she has feelings for and wants him?

Well, chase? Not really... I did make the first move... I said nice truck and when he got out... I was like whoa... he is a stud... LOL when he came over to say thanks about his truck, I introduced myself and asked for his number... I called him the next day to chat and he asked me out to dinner and a movie...

We've been married now for 6 years... :-)

I find nothing wrong with chasing a man, being upfront or making the first move... Now, I know there are some men that can't handle that and to be honest, who would want a man that couldn't handle me! LOL

Unfortunately I did and found that I looked really dumb doing it after a long talk with my older sister I stopped and left him alone after some time with no calls from me or stopping by his home every day he got curious as to why I told him that I had no interest. Tables were turned and he started calling and going over to my home everyday begging me to get back with him. 20 yrs later we are still married. I agree if a man does it ppl say oh hes just in love but when a woman does it its considered needy, desperate and psychotic. Either way you look at it both men and women that chase their loved ones are either needy, desperate and psychotic but hey! that what love does to you takes u to a whole other mind level of craziness.

it IS that you have feelings for him and want him. but people are always going to say things like that...i've chase men before.. i just got done chasing my boyfriend actually. i don't think its anything wrong with it because no one knows what we share. and i knew that deep down inside he really wanted me back. and he def took me back... who cares what people call it.. you must remember you can't change what has already been said or what people say still. you just have to do what you feel in your heart is right. when people ask me why in the world am i still after him, i say BECAUSE I LOVE HIM~! do you have a problem? is it any of YOUR business why i want him? no....and if i am making a mistake chasing after him, well guess what, that's life!! and i will learn from my stupid mistake...but you never know until you try...and when your in love, you will ALWAYS do what you want regardless of what anyone is telling you...an people will always say your stupid for doing that...WHO CARES!! they're stupid for worrying about you and not them!

because it is a sexist world. If a man sleeps around alot he is a stud, if a woman does it she is a hoe. same goes for all the rest. men are pigs and women just go along with it.
