my parents wont let me express myself, wont let me wear what i want to and when i try to talk to them about how i want them to let me have more freedom, and to let me express myself they laugh at me. what do i do? or what do i do to convince them to let me wear what i want?

ok well. from the begining she NEVER liked me. she was always tell my husband (then boyfriend) that i was always cheating on him. Now she did this for almost 2 years. She stopped when we got married. Now we have a baby in the picture. We went over her house and she kept telling me how i should care for my daughter, and she also put some a&d ointment on my daughter without asking me. ( i was in another room) It really bothered me. I never gave ANYTHING to her kids without making sure it was okay with her. I have ointment for my daughter and i would have put it on her IF she had a rash, but she clearly didnt. Anyways, my husband told her before to not tell me how to parent and she got all pissy. Now both of his sisters hate me and have threatened me because i tell both of them they arent going to have a relationship w/ my daughter until they can respect me and my wishes. Also, they just started up again saying they seen me with another man and i am cheating. Am i wrong? What should I do

I'm having a horrible time. I am a 4th yr student and currently have a 2.12 gpa which is pretty bad. to top it off i'm going to be failing 2 classes this semseter. I broke up wiht my boyfreind of only 1 month but it is tearing me up inside. I realized that i have a serious alcohol problem when i woke up the next morning and noticed i had cut my wrist! I never do anything like that, or think about it. I don't remember doing it Pretty much i'm freaking out about how to tell my mom i'm doing so bad she is going to be VERY mad. My brother and sister say i'm prob going to ruin christmas. To top it off, I was on the tennis team at my school, i love tennis. and I had to quit because with everything in my life I can't handle tennis, plus i will be ineligible to play next semsetr anyways b.c. of grades. I also have a waitress job, and i'm seeing a counselor at my school, but i haven't told her the truth about everything. Please can someone give me some advice. Thanks

i have always thouth of who i was with my mate.. had equal share..to what i had. i had a credit account with 850 dollars..with radio shack.. my bf max it out..i had to remind him of his kids,, and put it on my other card..no mention of what i may like..he has not got me anything.. but everytime we go to the mall it is a new jeyersey.. is all guys like this

Scenario: his second marriage, her first (both married 8yrs)
She left for 1yr, came back (went to another country - didn't keep in contact with husband) When she came back she accused him of not paying joint bills when they were together, yells at him in front of coworkers (they called her psycho) to get his attention - he at first wanted nothing to do with her.
Her family upset at her for leaving him
His 1st wife (he has child with her) upset at him because of chaos/disruption in sons life - son loved 2nd wife before she left
Husband takes 2nd wife back - both try "dating" again ~ he insists on sep. bank accounts, expecting 2nd wife to "freak out" at any time.
Husband also desperate to be in relationship. Very lonely when she left. Didn't find new gf while she was away. Gives wife 2nd chance even tho "he never gives 2nd chances"
Match made in heaven or hell? Do 2nd chances work? For 2nd marriages too?

I think the high divorce rate is primarily contributed to immature behaviors and attitudes of many Americans. Since the military develops self-discipline and respect, which are two qualities that are seriously deficient in America, I think the divorce rate will go much lower because many more Americans will respect and love their significant other much more and will develop more self-discipline, which would help prevent them from cheating or doing anything else stupid.

Also, after being in boot camp for a long time and being deprived of female companions, I developed a more heartful respectful for women. I don't know why, I guess when as a guy you go through such a painful experience for so long without women it makes you appreciate them more. Kind of like how you appreciate a nice, warm meal after going on a hunger strike.

I could be very wrong, and most people (including me) would think that this is a crazy idea. But I'm just curious to know what you guys would think about it.

my mother was like mi first best friend ever. i saw horror films with her, told her everything about me, my life and the way i look at things. mi dad doesn't live with us and i'm an only child, so our relationship is quite close. but recently it's been different. school's become more stressful and my social life is rocky. but mi mother's no help either. when we get close, she starts to get too comfortable and starts to play-hit me. then she'd get all bitchy saying how i can't handle pain. then when i try to ask her something personal that she doesnt like, she changes the subject or interups me and THEN changes the subject. i get all pissed and we fight. i say something like 'i hate you!' and she'd leave me alone. but when we get back together and everything is cool, she says 'do you really love me? i've done so much for you...' and she reminds me of what i said before. then we get into ANOTHER fight. how can i deal with a mother whose emotions are worse than mine, the 13 year old girl?

I also just recently got a divorce from a marriage that shouldnt have been. Me and my friend been hanging and got close he proposed after i was divorced and now in Iraq through the holidays = ( The only reason I stayed here in this town was for my fiance when he returned otherwise i would have moved home near family.
My ex and I are civil putting our child first and this will b his first holiday w/o both parents. I know my fiance well enough that he would not care that i spend the holiday with them for the child. another friend of mine says i would be dumb and foolish what would fiance think. I think fiance would rather me spend time with them (for child) rather than be alone for Christmas. My family is too far and i nee to save money.

The delima question should i accept the invite and go to ex's or just spend Christmas alone?

i was upstairs checking my email while listening to my iPod. She called my name down for dinner she says 5 times but i couldn't hear. when i got downstairs she's like, "im taking your iPod give it to me. I've called you to come 5 times."

I've been married for 5 months to my HS sweetheart who I've been with for over 6 years. We don't do much when he gets home from work (I'm currently looking for work so I'm at home all day). I find myself really bored cause we just watch tv, play on the computer, or occasionally play a board game. I don't mind doing these things so much but after a while I want to try something else and he also wants the tv off not longer after watching and just likes the silence (I dont). I'd like to go out but we don't have TOO much $ and don't know what to do. We don't drink, we don't like to dance, and we're not sporty types of people...neither of us can come up with anything to do and we're just getting frustrated with each other. Also new in town, dont know anyone.Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make this marriage more interesting. I don't even find myself that interested in being with him physically lately since I find myself bored when we're together the rest of the time..please help

…..argument with both my brother and sister-in-law…over her bad habit of starting a fight with my brother during any family function. It doesn’t matter if it’s a birthday party, anniversary, communion, graduation it could be whatever maybe even a funeral…..somehow some way a fight between them would erupt be a display for everyone to see.
So of course I was having a little get together with the family. When halfway into the party they seemed to be getting into another one of their fiasco, so my baby sister (she’s 20) just calmly stated that everyone was looking. Well she came out of her face and told my sister to stay out of her mouth and mind her business. Well its one thing to talk your nonsense to your husband, but when it comes to my family members it’s a whole different story. So in an instant my temper went to boiling point. I walked over to now three of them and asked to speak to them both privately. As we were walking to my dining room she continued her garbage with my brother. I basically told them both that if they feel a need to have their conversation they either find a private place to continue their mess or they can continue it out of my house, because I will not have my guest and feel uncomfortable in my own house because of their issue. She got real upset and say that my sister shouldn’t have said anything to her and that she was a child out of her place. I told her what my sister did was right because she was the one who was acting like a child and if she had any problem with the way I conducted myself in my own home she can choose to leave. They both left and the party continued and was a success, but my parents agreed that something had to be done but they are both afraid I have started a rift. I am not concerned about them being in or out of my life, but I don’t want problems either. What do you think?

well..my older sister has a bf and my older sister and i plus her boyfriend and her boyfriends nephew hung out and yea.. we (his nephew and i) didnt talk that much (shy). but a couple days later my sisters boyfriend told me that his nephew says hi. Does that mean he likes me.. or what?... and yea dont answer like if he liked u.. then he would ask u out or if he liked u then he would call u because yea were both not allowed to do that and we dont know each other that well. but yea does he like me?

my boyfriend and I have been together for a year, we live together, and things are okay, but his obsession with porn is really starting to cause a problem. I know it's a guy thing, and that most guys look at porn, but his collection is immense, and I know he's looking at it more than what we're having sex. I bring it up to him, and he either tells me I'm being too insecure, or that he's getting rid of it, but I still keep finding it on the computer. He even went so far as to photoshop pictures of his female friends to be obscene. We resolved that issue, but I still feel incredibly insecure over it. I feel like I'm doing something wrong, that he has to look at that stuff. I've dated guys who liked porn before, and it never was a problem, but I feel like I'm competing with it, and I feel like I'm not good enough. I feel threatened, insecure, and no matter what he says about getting rid of it, it still keeps popping up. I just wish he'd at least not make it so obvious that it's there

I had my first child at 16 from my first boyfirend in high school. I am now 25 years old and my son is 8. His dad occasionally sees his son, but we don't argue about it. I recently got out of a really bad relationship of 6 1/2 years, he wasn't my sons father, but the only man he was around often. I was introduced to this my brothers friend on New Years this year and kinda had an off and on fling with. When my ex and I called it quits for good, for the past 2 months I started messing around with the same guy I meet on New Years. Well, long story short. I got pregnant. At first the guy and I both agreed to abort it. But now I am undecided on what to do. My bestfriend is a strong believer against abortion and tells me I am selfish. But it's hard to choose since it would be my second abortion; an accident with my ex. And this guy and I never really had a relationship going. It was more about one thing only.

I have a guy friend i use to date and we dont date any more but we are best friends .He has been in the Army for 28 years now and is only 46 and he was married 8 years ago .
My question is he has a hard time leting woman get close to him at all! the thing is he tells me i am the closest to him more than any one in the past 8 years besides his daughters .
He was seeing this woman but she wanted to get close with him like move in and he stop seeing her all together.
