since we do not know you we can't help you write them. Go to Barnes & Noble/ Borders or the library and look at books of wedding ceremones. You can find them on line, too.
You should either have regular vows (which can be customized) or write your own.

Here's some free wedding vows, including a guide to how to write your own, both written by a popular couples therapist.

honestly...
no matter how unprofessional or unimpressive your vows are compared to your fiances poetry, if you really mean what you say and if it's the way you truly feel,
then what you say will mean more than any Shakespeare quote or line from a romance novel.
it doesn't have to be long.. a few simple words can mean soo much if it comes from the heart
good luck

I wrote my own vows too....and all I used was a few vows websites to get me started...then my heart kinda took over and flowed naturally. I don't want to put my vows n the boards so if you want to see mine, email me and I'll send you a copy...maybe they'll inspire you

No, You have one or the other.. Personal vows will be beautiful!
Don't feel bad about doing some research on the net for vow 'inspirations'.. Find something you like and alter to suit your own feelings and relationship. Try 'wedding vows' in a search engine like Google.
I personally like these vows:
I GR/BR, offer myself completely to you, BR/GR, to be your husband/wife in marriage.
I promise to love you with all my heart, to be true and faithful, to be kind and caring, and to be unselfish in my love.
I promise to stand beside you always – in good times and in difficult times. I pledge myself and all that I am, to you and you alone.
Ring Vows
This ring I give to you,
to symbolize the union of my life with yours.
Your dreams are now my dreams.
Your hopes are now my hopes.
Your fears are now my concerns.
Your affection is my joy.
Your love is my blessing,
always and forever
Good luck!

I am confused why the "I do" is not enough???? Any flowery words translate to the same "I do". But if you insist go to someone who is a writer or editor or in the media business. They "write" for a living so probably have better ideas.

just think about how you feel when you're with him, how did you feel when he proposed? how do you feel when you see him for the first time each day? how has he changed you or your life? if that doesn't help find an outside source. there are millions of songs and poems out there that you can borrow words from.
