It depends. What do you want to wear?

If it's revealing, skimpy clothes, or jeans hanging halfway down ur ***, then I understand why they are restricting what you wear.

However, I do know how you feel about them laughing at you. I felt the same way. You really have to think and approach them in a calm positive way. If they still say no, go with it. Once you turn 18, you can wear whatever you want. If you push the envelope too much, you could risk losing a relationship with your parents over how you dress.

I hate to tell you this but we all went through the very same things with our own parents. This to shall pass I think the best you can hope for at his point is a compromise try to lean some in their direction the more you resist the more they are going to insist you wear what they want you to. Try to be more cooperative and not so argumentative they may tend to give in a little bit if you give some

I promise you will get past this and you will be able to wear whatever pleases you this is just a season in life don't let it stress you to much.

Well parent always have your interest at heart. What you most probably come across is that there is a generation gap different. What you view as nice, may not be what your parent view as nice..
You need to share with them your interest and perhaps show them through other kids that it is alright o dress the way you wanted.. Of course without exposing yourself too much as this will attract undesirable attantion from your male counter parts..

take care
