If you were both working and had a joint account, all expenses outside of the home needs should be consulted first before purchasing it. If one party only knows how to spend without regard for kids and other stuff, then I strongly suggest you stop the joint account and open up your own account and never use a credit card and have your name in it if your spouse can't control his spending itch. Tell him half of everything you both earn goes into an account and should not be touched unless if it was an emergency and only for the kids, house, food, utilities, etc. All other stuff - he can buy with his own money and not touch your half as well. But the minute things get short and need extra cash - he shouldn't expect you to pay for it all. He also has to share in it. if he isn't amenable to this set-up, tell him to take a flying leap somewhere far far away.

I guess you and the boyfriend are a 15-year-old couple based on what he bought and how you type.

He sounds selfish-get those credit cards back and tell him you cancelled them-only use them when necessary. Good luck-he's immature

You need to remind him AND YOURSELF that this guy is your BOYFRIEND. He's not your husband. He has NO right to use your cards for anything without your permission....and if you are allowing this, you are acting FOOLISHLY!!!!!!!
