Do you think a guy is lucky when his girlfriend is so understanding and caring, and always gives him space when he needs it?

This lady knows that he's not the richest person around, he has financial difficulties, yet still want to stick with him although she knows there are guys better than him and can dump him anytime?

She tolerates his family and always makes sure he place his family first before her?

Yet its sad to know that this confident lady is me?

One of my best friends and I often joke about the fact we'd make a perfect couple. He always laughs and says "but unfortunately you're only attracted tot he type of me that treat you like ****" (which is true).

Yeah he's also the only guy I know who has put up with my tantrums, spent hours on the phone to me crying my eyes out, builds my confidence, tells me how wonderful I am, chats complete bollocks with me, makes me laugh until I cry, dresses up with me, acts silly with me, talks whistlessly for hours about all kinds of things with me, always makes time for me, bales me out of trouble, never loses patience and would do anything for me without ever expecting anything in return.

But now my friends have started saying it too, and it's got me thinking - but I could never compromise my friendship with him. Say if we did start seeing each other, it'd only end in disaster and I could lose a really good friend.

Is it possible to turn from friends to lovers?

My fiance and I have been engadged since September. I am begging to wonder WHY we are we even together. I never sold my old house so I will probally move into that. How can I lightly break up our relationship. He has kids and I have kids and I just think now isn't the best time for marriage. Nothing major has been planned yet, so I can do this. How should I do this?

My Fiance's ex-wife insists on staying at the house to visit the children when she's in town. She wants to visit the children and stay/sleep at the house if visiting for more than 1 day. I believe she should be able to visit her children, how would you react to her staying/sleeping at the house?

So my problem is that now that i have a family i really want to stay home for the holidays. On christmas eve of 2005 my husband proposed to me infront of both familys here at my house than on christmas day we went over to his family and in 2006 me and my husband had thanksgiving here and went over to his family the day after thanksgiving {thats when they celebrate} and than on christmas eve of course my husband and i stayed home but on christmas day we went over to his family well this year my daughter is now 8 months old and we have thanksgiving here and we go to his sisters for the day after thanksgivng and this christmas the plans were to go over there to his sister but since i am lonely {mom and brother moved} i want to spend this christmas with my sister but his family wants to know why and i told his mother why and i think its only fair that if we are going to split the holidays that his siter can have thanksgiving and my sister can have christmas and switch off every year

I have a friend who about two years ago thought she had found Mr. Right, unfortunately after he promised to marry her and she bought a condo that he was suppose to share, he dumped her. Now she has met someone else and has bought another home with him, soon they are to be engaged and marry in the fall. I have known her since college and think she is moving to fast. This past summer she wanted to dump him because he was too needy and she wasn't attracted to him. I know feelings can change but how do you go from that to marriage six months later? After her last relationship I think she needs to be more cautious and slow down. I guess some people get married "just to get married" or is love confused for need?

In all things give thanks for this pleases God.

My Thanksgiving thanks is:

Thank you Lord that even though my husband is sick & I am staying home with him, I can cook the Turkey Thanksgiving dinner myself & have healing time with my husband.

Thank you Lord that I can be with my family back in my home town & my family elsewhere this Thanksgiving in my memories.

Thank you Lord that even though my daughter (in her last month of pregnancy) has to work in the hospital four days/12hr shifts in a row this Thanksgiving, you are going to answer my prayer request that you send sufficient Winged Angel hospital nurses to help all patients & that healing & physical patient ability will improve greatly so all will have much to be thankful for even in the hospital.

Thank you Lord for my husband making the decision (asking for prayers from family for strength) to quit drinking alcohol. That he will he able to quit drinking & liver heal above & beyond all expectations this New Year.

I spend about 10 days each month in another city because of my job. I got a girlfriend there. But then I began to feel lonely at home and got another girl where i live. I told that to both of them and said that despite I ´d feel jealous, they were free to date other guys in my absence, as long as they had sefe sex. Is that immoral? Am I a jerk? Personally, if both relationships are satisfying to man and woman I don´t see a problem.

I have been seeing this married guy for 7 months now, he has introduced me to all his friends, we go out together, we see each other everyday and took a few weekend trips too. He spends as much time as he can with me, he says he loves me. His wife is driving him crazy (so he and his friends say), he married her because she got pregnant right after they started dating. He says he can't get a divorce cuz he doesn't have enough $$ to pay for child support. But he recently got a new great paying job.

With the amount of time we spend together, do you think his wife knows?? or she does not want to face this reality?
If he says he loves me and spends so much time with me, and now has a great paying job, should he finally leave her to be with me?

Well me and my girlfriend have been going out for like 3-4 months and I used to really like her and felt that I would do anything for her, but lately I haven't felt the same. I think it's because we live an hour away and don't get to see each other a lot so we're never there for each other when we need somebody. So I was thinking of maybe breaking up with her before things go on and it gets harder to do. But I'm worried I might regret it and I don't want to make her sad... cause I know she really loves me but I'm not sure if I return those feelings anymore. What do you think I should do? I know in the end it's me who has to decide and do it but I'm just looking for some advice.

I have been with my man for 14 years and we have definitely had our share of problems. We had a major melt down about 2 years ago and ever since then we've been getting along fairly well. But lately, he's been acting really sneaking and I think he's up to his old tricks again.

We have 3 kids, so I try not to make it a matter of breaking up, but I feel I'm only left with two choices...break up with him (and potentially damage the kids) or stay with him and *possibly* cheat on him. I've never cheated on him before, but something in the back of mind wants to let him know that two can play that game. I know it's not right, but I don't know what else to do...

one of my online friends has not contacted me recently. i met him online a while back and that's the only form of communication i have with him. well i sent him an email yesterday and he never answered me back and tried to IM him for 3 hours straight and got no answer. he's been going through a tough time lately and i'm worried because he has tried to commit suicide before. i know i could just be blowing this out of proportion and he could be at a relatives house or at home or doing something special for thanksgiving. i'm just really worried for him. what should i do?
