Well me and my girlfriend have been going out for like 3-4 months and I used to really like her and felt that I would do anything for her, but lately I haven't felt the same. I think it's because we live an hour away and don't get to see each other a lot so we're never there for each other when we need somebody. So I was thinking of maybe breaking up with her before things go on and it gets harder to do. But I'm worried I might regret it and I don't want to make her sad... cause I know she really loves me but I'm not sure if I return those feelings anymore. What do you think I should do? I know in the end it's me who has to decide and do it but I'm just looking for some advice.

Firstly i should say you are not sincere abt your love. If you feel that the long distance has actually made you lose interest in her then i guess you are not serious abt her from the start.

I think you should just break up with her now since you are not wholeheartedly in love with her. Dont hurt her when she gets too involved in this relationship. To me, i feel that you are in a relationship to have someone when you need someone.

Don't stay with her just to avoid hurting her because in the end it will only make it harder on the both of you. It's also not fair to lead her on if your heart isnt fully in it anymore. I think if you are already having doubts after 3 or 4 months then your relationship probably isn't going anywhere. Maybe you should talk to her and think about an 'open relationship'. Being with other girls may help you figure out whether or not you want to stay in this relationship.

Not everyone can handle a long distance relationship, some people require more face-to-face time than others to keep feelings strong. I'd consider this a no-fault situation, and yes, you probably should end it before she gets further entrenched, especially if your feelings have faded to this extent. Sure she will be sad, but the longer it goes on, the sadder she's going to be. I'm sorry this is happening. I wish you both the best.

Every break up hurts. If you feel the need to break up with her so you won't hurt her worts later, then do it. But you have to be 100% sure of it, because, like you said, you might regret it. Think about the moments you spend together, do you have good time? Do you like her presence? Do you think, in the near future, would you be able to reciprocate the same feelings she has for you? You have to think it throughly

its your decision but the exact same thing happened to me

i got hooked up with this girl Brandi from Concord NH i live in Mass an hour away i saw her maybe 2 or 3 times a week but i after we met is was love at first site. after about 2 and a half months i started second guessing it, then my friend at the time was showing signs of liking me and i thought it would b better in a closer relationship. so i broke up with brandi, after 3 weeks with my new gf i broke up with her for brandi once again, she did take me back but it wasnt the same, so after 3 more weeks with brandi she broke up with me and i was heart broken, u must b very careful cuz if the same thing happens to u, u will regrte it for a long time just as i did

well if you have only been going out for a couple months...then you should do it now then later...

but if you guys are meant to be with each other you will end up together in the end anyway...so just let life take its course...

besides unless you two have been dating for at least a year of two...i am almost positive she will get over it pretty fast...(not trying to be disrespectful or anything)

good luck

Talk to her and tell her how you feel. No matter how you say it, you will end up hurting her feelings. Just don't break up with her without saying why. Good luck!
