Do you think a guy is lucky when his girlfriend is so understanding and caring, and always gives him space when he needs it?

This lady knows that he's not the richest person around, he has financial difficulties, yet still want to stick with him although she knows there are guys better than him and can dump him anytime?

She tolerates his family and always makes sure he place his family first before her?

Yet its sad to know that this confident lady is me?

What's sad about that? You see beyond material wealth and that unfortunately is a rarity these days. The only thing I question is when you say you know there are better guys and can dump him anytime. Why drag the poor guy along if you really do think you can do better? Isn't that selfish?

I think you have a kind heart and are compassionate but I think you're undermining him when you say you can do better. That's just cruel to him. Decide what's more important: A loving, caring man who lacks material wealth, or a man who has material wealth but is a complete jerk.

I'm a little concerned your priorities are skewed yet masked by a facade.

This sounds a little bit out of kilter. If you are not being treated very well in return, then you are being a door-mat. Why would you mention the fact of dumping him at any time? Do you have a need to lord it over him? Are you trying to convince him or yourself that this is a good relationship? I'm thinking you had better give the whole situation some serious thought, and decide whether or not you should stay or leave. You are a bit mixed up at the moment.

Sounds good except the part where you encourage him to put his family first. If you guys were to get married and/or have kids he should be putting you and/or the kids before the rest of his family.

This lady is very caring and unselfish, and it is uncommon to find such a wonderful person. Any guy should consider himself VERY lucky to have a girlfriend like her. I hope he appreciates her/you.

If you are happy with your boyfriend, then stay! If you are not happy, you must be honest with him. If he isn't willing to change to make you happy, then maybe this isn't worth it for you.
