one of my online friends has not contacted me recently. i met him online a while back and that's the only form of communication i have with him. well i sent him an email yesterday and he never answered me back and tried to IM him for 3 hours straight and got no answer. he's been going through a tough time lately and i'm worried because he has tried to commit suicide before. i know i could just be blowing this out of proportion and he could be at a relatives house or at home or doing something special for thanksgiving. i'm just really worried for him. what should i do?

well its thanksgiving. most likely he is out with his family. i wouldnt worry bout it.

Try to realize there is little you can do. He is most likely fine, but I dont think even if he were determined to commit suicide that an online connection could change it ( Im sure you are supportive but thats just the way it is) Lets pray he is within a warm family circle today who will recognize his problem and get him help. take into consideration that you "really dont KNOW this person".. you dont know what his actions are capable of..Take your mind off of it for a while and focus on YOU and what is going on in your family TODAY!!... Think about it some other time
