My divorce has been going on over 4 years. She is just continually stalling. Anyone else take that long?

I have been married for almost a year, and haven't changed my name because I have a somewhat unique situation.
I want to keep my 1. firstname, 2. middlename, and 3. lastname.
Then, I want to simple ADD my husbands name to that list. There is no place on my marriage license to list your "new name" so is the only way to do what I want to file for a "legal" name change with the county clerk and pay upwards of 300 dollars? I find this to be a little patriarchal and arcane, not to mention insane (since, in the end I just want to keep my names and take his too), so I hope someone knows of another option!!

My husband and I have been seperated for 1 month due to him cheating on me with his ex. I made him leave the house and we didnt speak for a couple of days. But he's already talking to other women. We've been together for 4 years(married 2 years) and he acts as if he could care less about the split up. He moved 10 hours away and he doesnt even bother calling me or calling to check up in our son. I want to talk to him but I dont want to call him to see what made him do what he did but I know I shouldnt when he's the one that cheated and should be calling me.

I just went on the computer and seached its history and my brother typed in the word "s e x" and "sexy woman" on the computer. I know it was him so don't tell me it could be my parents. I don't know what to do... he's 10 and I don't want him to get "the wrong idea." Now I'm worried that later on he will get exposed to something else. What should I do? Should I tell my parents or not? I told him what I found and he keeps beating me up. I know he's getting close to puberty age, but what can I do to get him away from that kind of stuff? How can I get him to be more focused in school?

First off I am not an abusive husband. I love my family and I am usually a mild mannered person. I have been married for 20 years. and I have 4 children, one who is at home. My wife drinks a lot and has gone through counseling. She was sober for about a year but started back drinking. She has a very domineering and aggressive personality. I have been embarassed at her at parties and other events while she is drunk she yells at me as if I'm a kid for no real reason. I work hard and have given her and our children a good life. She has this dillusion that I am cheating on her which I have never done and don't plan on doing. She got all upset the other night by a something harmelss I did and cussed me loudly. I don't know what came over me but I slapped her in the face. I got mad and didn't mean to do it but it happened and I feel terrible about it. As I look back I think I should leave her from all the stress. I tried to walk away but she followed me everywhere I went. Any advice? Thanks

I'm a sophmore in highschool, and iv'e liked this boy for a year and a half now, and i finally want to tell him. I think he already knows, but im not sure. people have told him before that i liked him but when im around him i don't act like i like him even though i do. I want to know whats a better way to tell him, over the phone, or in person? ive asked my guy friends, and a few of them said in person, and some said over the phone. Also, how would you tell somebody that you liked them? I guess my problem is that im scared of being rejected by someone that i like sooo much. But the good part is, that he might like me back from the way he acts around me, but im not too sure.

Ive been cheating on my girlfriend and now I got 2 girls pregnant one has jus given birth the other has just announced shes pregnant.Living with my girlfriend and her kid became stressful and rather than moving on I just had some fun on the side.Now I feel very stupid and guilty for being such an irresponsible asshole.Both these other girls knew I had a girlfriend and live on the same street as me I know the truth will

me and my new bf been together for 7 months and now we have had sex okay we had trouble having sex he couldnt stay hard for some reason he said that had never happened to him and then this morning he wanted to try again and so we did and he kept having that problem again and then by that time we ran out of condoms and then we decided to not do it but that thought didnt last long then we actually did it wothout a condom yes i know im stupid but we have all been there caught up in the moment so for some reason i started bleeding and then we stopped and then we started again i still was bleeding and also he came but he withdrew but i dont think he did it the correct way yes i know i was irresponsible yes i know stds' can be involved and even pregnancy but us as women why cant we stop when we are caught up in the moment?

yea, I have 3 close friends! they all don't get along at all! and on top of that, they all drive me crazy!! one is wayyyy to hyper and makes me soo mad and creates drama! another ditches me for popular kids and is way too bossy! my other one is my closest, and she is always whining and complaining and has to get her way! on top of that, she is starting to go anorexic because she is "too fat" when she is only like 5 lbs overweight!

I am 27 years old and a virgin. I have a new g/f. We have made out on several occasions and whenever we do, I don't really get much of an erection. So I texted her 2 days after I got her nr. Arranged to meet in her place for sushi; so we did. Then she said she wanted to show me photos of her holiday (we were talking about this at the bar). Out of the blue, she mentions her boyfriend, nothing too detailed, but was telling a story and she mentioned her boyfriend. We were laying in her bed, quite close to each other. She was checking me out the whole night. At the end of the night I was expecting a kiss, but instead she gave me two kisses on each cheek. Then we met again, 2 days later for dinner, (I have paid everything since we met). Eye contact was good, then we were talking about stuff, then again she mentioned her boyfriend. Two other women were after my husband but he picked me to marry. One of the women even managed to break us up for a short period. When I emailed him and made up a story on how I slept with another guy my now husband threw a fit. He called this particular woman all kinds of names and the next day she stole his car. This guy and I have been hanging out for a couple of months now and he's cool. I don't want to be with him I just like having a good time. I'm beginning to really like him and I would like to do this for him the only problem is he's not my man. Long story short, I took the kids and moved to my mom's house this past weekend. I'm tired of my hubby's crap and told him that he has until the end of the year to get it together or I'm filing for divorce. I'm developing this list of things that I would like to see from him in order to stay with him. Is this the right thing to do? One part of me thinks that there is no way that he could know the things on my list because he's not a mind reader, but on the other hand, these are common things that everyone wants in their relationship so it's not a huge secret. All I want from him is:
1. To wear his wedding ring without my having to ask. I took mine off because he doesn't want to act like a husband so I figured why should I wear it. He saw that I took mine off and took his off. I'm thinking that if he really wanted to prove to me that he still wanted to be married that he would wear it, regardless if I did or not.

and doesn't have health insurance. I'm not supposed to know...but recently found out. She has another little girl that is 2 years old, who also doesn't have health insurance. She has a planned c-section for January and as far as I know has been paying out of pocket for her doctor's appointments. My husband took her to a clinic to get her shots updated over a year ago. She had not been to a doctor since before she was one for a regular check up. I know for a fact that there are plenty of shots that she has missed but what should I do about it? I don't want to overstep my boundaries but I also care that my niece is in good health. I believe she won't get government assistance because she has gotten so far behind on her first child's shots and appointments. My sister in law doesn't have a DL's or a car and sits at home all day while her husband is at work. My husband and I have always offered to help, she is just too lazy! Should I call social services on family?

Recently, a new guy came into my life, and we got engaged.

The problem is my mother in law. She was so nice to me before but ever since we told her that I am pregnant, she has completly changed. She always tells me how I need to get to know him better. We went to her house for Halloween, I walked up to the counter where she was standing, she just said "I know you are there, I heard the dogs when you came in." Not hi or how are you or anything. I am 20 weeks pregnant and she told me it is too early to start thinking of names. My family is so excited, they tell everyony about the baby but she doesn't say anything to anyone about it.
